Skidmores in Oldham, johnsons at stalybridge and high peak up at glossop are all in local range. Not as glamorous as Surosa but hey, they’re still open

Manufacturers are making for £1 shops too these days. So you a £1 worth in a £1 shop, not a £3 worth for £1………it’s all marketing

If they are making for SP that’s not end of line clearance and makes SP just like DFS and TK Maxx.

Saying that you could say the same about any shop which sells its own brands like next and debenhams. They all manufacture sale only items. Also outlet villages, the only place you can buy the stuff in outlets is at outlets.

i saw they had these in all terrain cycles at wetherby. very breathable, as has been said strechy and comfy…..has a nifty magnetic flap on the tail for protection on the bike and pub factor when folded up.

The only choice this year is the GT Grade, it’s not a cyclocross bike, but could do one

Sugoi clothing has some jerseys and knee coolers with xylitol which is same as what they put in tooth paste and gum to cool your mouth. Sugoi claim it cools by 4degree when sweat activates it. Clever stuff, hope this answers your query?

This is fun and cost £2k also costs £140 to insure fully combo for me and the wife. It’s not my everyday drive but could be.

So, I have collected her! Drove her back from Manchester to Newcastle with a big old grin. Super fun so far. Couple of “quirks” to sort out but all in all happy. Now need to wash her and wait for a sunny day to enjoy her on a set of country lanes.

Thanks for all the info and thoughts about them!

I’ve found spares when looking on eBay etc pretty reasonable. Whole engine for £300 etc there seems to be a lot getting scrapped so second hand parts are freely available. Also bits fit across 924/944/968 too which helps. I’m sure something will cost a fair bit but all cars can cost a lot at some point .

Values should rise too over next few years. I think we are looking at a fair few years until Boxter values rise. Plus I needed a 4 sweater for me and the kids.

It’s was on for 3k and the guy seemed half desperate to sell and half understanding he’d over valued. It’s an 87 2.5 lux with 177k miles they are cheap fun classics

Mine was just over £2k and is mint. Insurance is £150 per year for me and hardupmum. It’s a 2nd car to me as my everyday vehicle is a company VW t5 kombi. The itch is about to be scratched and I’ve always dreamt of a porker!

I have the 2014 carbon expert . Been out on it now a handful of times and don’t think I have ridden a better all round bike. Loving my first 650b, geometry is what I have wanted for years. Totally suits my riding. Climbs well, descends fantastically and singletrack is a blast.

Did the Threlkeld loop, was great mornings ride away from the family for a few hours. The rocks on the second valley wall were crackers slippy and got a little confused coming back down to Keswick,

Threlkeld loop looks good and doable. Ok to tackle alone you reckon? Pretty hard pack?

Try a company called the black run couriers. They take gear by hand to the alps.
