Having a DH team didn’t sway me when I got myself the new GT Sensor and I’m absolutely loving it. I am a bit of a fan of the brand from bmx and MTB. The sensor though is one of the best all round trail bikes I’ve had in recent years. It’s kinda nice having something bit different too.
glad to see privateer is still a thing

I have ring door bell and ring floodlight cam. £5 a month for the 2

I also have a blink camera which was bundled with an Alexa. The blink you can’t use as a motion detector without going through IFTT. Then it takes 20mins approx to work it’s way through.

I have a smart plug in my bedroom powering my bedside lamp. I have it set to come on in the night if any motion sensed around my shed where the bikes are. Works well and is instant as goes through Alexa app routines.

I’ve caught one guy going through my bins and a cat sat on my shed roof.

Thanks all, defo will visit the pump track and the 13 year old seems to think he’ll be there a lot. Some good ideas there so thanks for taking the time

Ok so I am a little bit bonkers but I can’t understand it. It seems more than a coincidence

I have the sensor and can’t fault it. 130mm 29r and just wants to keep going faster. Can’t comment for the others but the GT sensor is great all rounder and most models offer exceptional value with dealer service too. That’s not to be forgotten.

I saw on GCN that the commencal EWS riders were using them in the bike check. If good enough for them good enough for me

I did ‘ard rock with a full large one and didn’t lose my bottle. Pretty bumpy as you can imagine.

the key to not losing the bottle is to over tighten the studs so they expand enough to hold them securely.

Had one on road last week and was fine too. Look mega cool too as don’t get all scratched.

Would say if your normally a medium you might be a large.

I’d go with the grade. If you can find a Grade 105 it has the hydro trp calipers. Super versatile bike, on road and off. Can get massive tyres in too.

Was just checking to see if anyone had used this website for the same reason. Really good price but would like to know what others thought? Anyone tried them? I have 2 pairs in my basket ready to click buy on.

    Anyone any thoughts?

Take it back to your local Canyon dealer and see if they can help.

Cheers for the info. Looks like I’ll probably go with a starter set from pimoroni and see what come of it.

He has iPad for “normal” stuff so i guess look at these like a digital Lego. Fun to do together etc and slightly educational.

Have you seen the Sugoi Zap jacket? Goes from black or red or purple to super bright reflectivity and breaths well too. Reflective tape I’m lead to believe doesn’t breath too well.? How the Proviz breath?

Hope do one bigger so could possibly do one to order?

Otherwise would suggest contact a GT dealer for a replacement, but will most likely be same as what you have and to order only.

GT Sensor for me, 2016 bikes have a 140mm fork too. I have been riding the alloy pro for past year and loved it.

I can’t see why not? The GT force for 2016 comes with a piggy back. Once in place with the piggy back towards the front and at the top I can’t see what would foul the shock?

I would say you should be ok.

I love my sensor! Proper underrated.

My brother in law just got a coupe with 30k on for just over 11k you might find some lower mileage in budget. I used to drive a 225 Quattro and I have to admit it could do anything you chucked at it but felt a little numb.

I have a Porsche 944 which cost pocket money now and that’s a blast!

Enjoy whatever you end up with. BTW a Porsche Boxter and 996 are probably both in budget too ; ) don’t tel everyone though I’m saving up!

Awesome bike. I’m 5’10 and would go medium. Pivots and everything super reliable. Designed with help from Dan Atherton who last time I looked was a UK rider. I wouldn’t worry about issues.

Point it down hill and is great. Need to pedal a flat and is great. Not a trail bike though.

I feel done over as in the first post says. My neighbours, both on 45k (total income £90k) get to keep their £1700 child allowance yet me on on £50k has to pay it back. Maybe I wouldn’t feel done over if it was fairer.

Also to all the haters, £20k of this is bonus. For the past 5 years with economic down turn I have been under £30k. It’s a sales role and you have to take the tough with the smooth. I doubt next year whilst paying back the allowance I will hit the same bonuses.

Edit: and the hardupdad bit is a name from when I was new dad feeling pretty hard up. How do I change my name on here to something more current

If you can open 2 shops and make money from day one whilst paying 4 staff let me know how. 1st shop funds the second while building up customer base. I would expect to see an income from May. It’s a long term thing.

Sorry to be the bad guy…….I just thought it seemed a little unbalanced.

I just wonder how many people bought an Apple device off Amazon whilst drinking Starbucks coffee when they were giving it all that up there.

Hope you all filed you returns on time.

I don’t mind paying it back its the fact a household income of 90k wouldn’t be in the same position. I admit I have worked hard to get where I am and sorry I have annoyed some of you.
