I hope it's good we're going next Friday, been to Crete Sensatori twice.

They are ideal if you've got little'uns, fairly positive reviews on TripAdvisor.

Good info about the biking, just have to hide my cycling gear now!

I think I went in 1997, over Christmas. Quite liked the village feel and some great restaurants, but there was no snow!

Only the Luc Alphand black run seemed to be open with the use of snow cannons, and it was just ice. Snow promise from Neilson meant that they provided a coach to Les Deux Alpes everyday, much better resort and conditions.

Wouldn't bother going back to board again, doesn't compare to Morzine, Chatel, Sainte Foy etc.

Hopefully OK, stem and bars going on my mmmBop.

Price was a major factor, black stuff is cheaper than the white. Understand a certain magazine has reviewed the stem and given it a thumbs up.

I've had a Heckler since 2003 and been very impressed, and actually prefer the more industrial look to the new swoopy version.

2010 Orange 5 owning mate borrowed it last week to do a ride, his comments were that it felt very similar to his 5, albeit shorter top tube and a bit lighter (probably fork selection), very chuckable and climbed well – overall not that different.

I've had a Dakine Nomad for about 2 months after years of Camelbak use, it's already survived the Alps apart from being a bit muddier.

Can't fault the bag part but CRC have already replaced the Hydrapak bladder which leaked from day one.

Aside from that it's the ideal day pack for longer rides with lots of compartments and carries helmet well.

ps – building cost (Norman Foster Design – almost worth the trip on its own) – a cool £300m.

Agree design is fantastic, but cost a great deal higher than the £300m reported

I've been, albeit a few years ago, courtesy of a major curtain walling manufacturer who happen to be a sponsor. Top day, get to see the GP car collection and F1's, they were making SLR's at the time, pretty much complete tour of factory including where they make the GP cars and the carbon bits. Spotless, crisp, efficient, beautifully detailed building with immaculate uniformed staff – very sci-fi feel in keeping with Foster ethos and Ron Dennis. Also very expensive to the extent I don't think they've ever disclosed the capital build costs!

Jamie, if driving up specially from Peterborough, I would drive a few more miles up to Hope area – fantastic riding and lots of choice. Hope's about 35 – 40 mins from Matlock.

In addition to LL & TBC above: Condor Cycles, Chevin Cycles, Action Bikes, Alpine Bikes and Berkshire Bikes – bound to be some others.

    I've been looking too…
