Hi somafunk, that’s great they offered to send a shim to us. If Lynskey recommend 27.2 I’ll take that option too. Did they give any advice on removing the shim? If not it would be good to know how the shim has been bonded to the frame, as I had a post stuck in my stiffee, not sure if it naturally stuck in the frame or some pr1ck glued it! It was seriously stuck, it wouldn’t budge! We had to chisel the thing out in the end. Aboslute nightmare!!!! I’ll email you tomorrow.

I had the seat post shim issue. i have received a refund and will be hopefully buying a second hand 2010 model tomorrow 🙂 do you know where I can buy the 100mm shims? I called Merlin but they they couldn’t help.

I need to replace all bearings in my hustler, I have the older frame with the banana style rocker. Do you sell these? If so how much? Also, I need to buy a bearing puller, any suggestions?

yep cracked in the same place. Silverfish said it’s only a 2 year warranty with the lynskey frames. I really would like another but in two minds now. Would I be bette off with a older on off eBay!

MountainMutant – I just found a crack in exactly the same place as yours. My bike is a 2010 model but was purchased in march 2012!!!!!!! Not happy, how did you get on with it being replaced?
