Broken seatpost lever PLUS hose was about to go…..everyone OOS on hose kits so not got round to it yet…..buy the whole thing for a just a little bit more.

I have a hang on btw…..not sure what the code you mention is…..

I have smax…..and a Thule 4 bike carrier…..it does tilt and the boot does open…..usually just take it off though as it is easier…..can get to most things without needing boot open anyway…..

Momentum as you say…..so sometimes stopping and braking in the conditions you described could be argued as equally or possibly more dangerous – and I didn’t clean it, first time doing it would have made that a tough ask. And also the walkers we passed were on the wide grassier sections.

I probably didn’t help myself by slightly embellishing the ‘splashing’ element in my eagerness to post what a great morning doing new stuff that I had, had.

Still, no harm done.

That Darley route is a bit dull in my opinion…..

Not been to leic riding as cannot imagine there is much to sing about, but…..

Sherwood flows really well and is a good fitness blast if you get it all done without stopping…..a get a lap done, then circle back for lap 2 and spend 30 mins on the jumps and dh section…..

More interesting than Dalby if you ask me…..

Jekyll…..pretty much did your route but started at cat and fiddle….so we could have a crazy climb as a finish!!!

Was a good route and charity lane was a highlight……probably need to find some more distance for next time…..

Screaming mile = the descent at Hagg farm Junction in opposite direction to Hagg Farm descent. It leads down to edge of LB…
