DVLA will replace with a dateless plate, but you can’t sell that one on.

Mrs hanchurch had lens implants 4 years ago (her eyes were too bad for laser surgery). They are implants that work with your own lenses not replacements. This means that later down the line she can have new implants if her eyesight deteriorate with age unlike laser surgery that can’t always be repeated. The procedure was 100% successful and her vision is better than 20/20 for the first time in her life. Highly recommend it, even though you could get an awesome bike for the cost!

AEG, we have had ours 8 years with no issues (clearly going to have a flood later), it has had a hard life, on nearly every day at least once, two babies with reusable nappies, muddy bike kit three times a week and in the last two years two sets of kids rugby kit twice a week.

Do the course, if you don’t and end up with 9 points down the track you will wish you did it. Most insurance companies don’t require you to declare a course you do have to declare points, not that they make much difference to the price.

Needs a active subscription to give a discount on the insurance, well worth it in my experience.

Ha Esme, that reminds me when I was a kid my Dad brought a flask of liquid nitrogen home (he was a physicist) and we dipped things in it and threw them against a wall to watch them shatter! Carrots, bananas and the hose pipe spring to mind!

A “friend” got flashed at over 90mph on the M62 about three months ago and never got anything, the signs were off at about 11pm.

Can’t get a bike in the boot of an S4 without the seats folded, even with both wheels off.

I tend to work on if the MPG is higher than the outside temperature I’m doing well. Bad day in this photo.

I had a v6 Alfa 156 it was awesome when it worked ( which was fairly rare ), in two years of owning it at 6 years old, it needed a new clutch, new radiator, loads of interior fit annoyances and an electrical problem that took early a week to fix. Good job I bought it with a good warranty, even having all of these problems I was still interested in the 159 v6 when it came out, so I contacted Alfa for a test drive when they first came out. I was told that ther were no demo cars available with that engine but I could test drive a diesel one and a GT with the v6 engine (not really the same). I kicked off with Alfa UK saying I was wanting to buy the most expensive car they sell and I was not prepared to do so without test driving it first. Two days later I got a call from my local dealer saying they had a 159 v6 for me to test drive, I got there and it was a customers order that Alfa UK had told them to let me drive before he picked it up. Imagine finding out your new pride and joy had been used as a demo car before you had it! Suffice to say I bought an Audi, but I still love them!

I did an 8 hour round trip to buy mine (twice) once to view and test drive and once to pick it up. I did the deal over the phone first.

I would haggle at Lidi, unfortunately can’t find a way to get cheap petrol, I do always pull up the hose to drain the last bit into my tank!

I know they are great prices but I don’t like to pay the upfront price for anything, I will ring and ask but just wondering how much people had got off the online price.

We claimed for a damaged wheel and tyre on a two week old car the council paied 90% of the total cost, it was about ten years ago but I think they paied out about £350, we had a photo of the hole with time and date it happened and a recipt for the new wheel and tyre.

Never payed the asking price for a car, my best deal was 15% off asking price after it had already been reduced. I rang the dealer 200 miles away and said if it was as discribed I would pay £X for it, the dealer said no way so I said if you change your mind ring me….two weeks later I got the call to say they would take the offer, so I cheakely said throw in a tank of petrol and I’ll be there tommorow and they did!

More about the bikes, I still have the car ( and bikes ), I have had it from newish it was an Audi demo car, it has been very reliable, it had a new alternator which was expensive, aircon drive belt and the exhaust need es welding a few months ago, apart from that only service costs, brakes and tyres…. Oh and it uses a bit of petrol!

I’m back to see the surgeon on Wednesday, then should be able to start physio. The rotation and movement is getting better. The main question is when can I get back on the bike!

Never used a camelback but it makes sense to put 2.5kg on me rather than the bike.

That’s my problem, can I justify £500 more for a carbon frame, and will it hold up to smashing through woods on a regular basis? The moon on a stick would be great thanks!

It is a cool bike, was hoping someone would be able to find me a real bargan to justify the price difference between it and the alloy 1.
