See – now there’s your problem – train drivers don’t “drive”, they just eat their sandwiches and complain about their wages.

Valid point about the CBT/cycling for ALL drivers though. And anything YOU do on the road should be reflected on any license you hold.
    So Red light? 3 points and fine same as a car/bike, road/pavement/road – 3 points, etc……….

I have a 330D Touring Msport with Alcantara.
Love it to bits but it gets underused with an A3 and 2 vans in the household.
When I want to go anywhere that’s more than a few miles then there is no choice – it’s the 330! Goes like stink, does 40+ to the gallon and will swallow enough kit for a week away with the family without breaking sweat.
Sadly she has to go as there needs to be yet another van/toy transporter and SWMBO has put her foot down :(
So a valet this week and then a trawl round the dealers to see what deals can be done.

“Infermo” and “El Paro” are 2 different things.
Infermo is reviewed by your own doctor and chargeable so it’s normally the receptionist who prints out the form.
El Paro is for “up to” 2yrs or you can choose to take a lump payment to start your own business but don’t expect anything else for another 2yrs.
What is good is that it must be earned – 3mths work = nothing, 6mths work = 2mths payments, 12mths = 3mths, over 2yrs = up to 2yrs payments BUT it is based on CONTINUAL employment – you can’t “tot up”.
About time it was introduced here……. You don’t work – you don’t earn the right to unemployment benefit.

Use a 350D for fun and a 1000D for work – actually going to sell in the 1000D now as it never gets used!
Mainly have a 23-70 for everything except proper zoom work.

Either Matt or myself are VCRA compliant – but Matt is the guy who does it for a living.
Personally in your position – stay clear of Zeroin.

I skirmish with Matt – depends on condition, mags, batteries, etc.

Still need to give the BBC money even if you have virgin or sky – biggest legalised ripoff ever!
There was a tv engineer who modded his tv so it could not recieve any BBC channels – they took him to court and he lost! Judge ruled he had to pay regardless as the license is for the tv not what channels you watch.

It’s more likely to be the tracking internally
Drop the motor out, and open it up to show where the connections are.
There will be 2-3 “tongues” that ride on a circular track.
What normally happens is this track gets pitted and causes a break in the circuit.
Give it a ligh sand, some flux and solder to re-tin the track is normally enough.
Done on it 2 Astra’s and a Vivaro to date.

Recorded delivery – if you don’t use it the the seller has no defence.
If you do then the buyer has none.

Now that is a lot nicer than the cabletie method and I’m guessing a LOT cheaper than spikes at 60p each!

Remind me not to sell to you then. As the buyer, if you dont want to pay via gift payment, then cough up the extra money. Not the sellers problem, why should they lose out?

    I wouldn’t deal with you – simplez.

    scaredypants
not that much of a problem though, ignoring you ’til you pay in full
(somebody did it to me once – I sent off the stuff once he said he’d paid me, then found out he’d stiffed me for the charges. won’t be happening again)

And I’d be recalling the payment from you.

As a seller – I expect a small charge for someone to receive the funds and then transfer them to me (whilst I don’t agree with how much they charge – at least I know I’m protected too if a “buyer” tries to pull the “I haven’t received my parcel” trick)
The “gift” request just smacks of greediness to me personally – how about you go to work and do several hours overtime, but your boss won’t pay you as it’s a “gift”

Unless I’ve dealt with the seller before on any of the dozen or so forums I use then REGARDLESS of what they want – I send it normally. If they either haven’t allowed for the charges or are too f*ckin lazy/tight then that’s their problem, not mine.
Unless I happen to be at the PC then there isn’t even the option to “gift” a payment from the mobile app so again – it’s their problem.
Maybe this should be a new classifieds rule – NO GIFT PAYMENTS.

Sold my Golf and got an E46 Touring – loved every minute of it!
330D with over 200bhp and 300+ ftlb and 40+mpg on runs. Factory M-Sport too so all the toys and the Alcantara is far nicer than the slippy leather that most of the bodykitted ones all have.
Shame I’ve got to sell it now as being out of the country so much it sits on the drive as the wife has her A3.
