How come they are useless against punctures?

Thanks, not sure what size tyres are just standard schwable ones?

    Didn’t use tyres leavers.

I understand now and it makes sense. I could get away with skinnier tyres but it isn’t ideal. Back to wiggle it is then.

    Thanks again guys. Perfect.

MJ-872 look really good. I am planning to get one, do others use a head light with them if so which one?

Hi guys. Never been night riding but it seems to me a common set up is p7 bars and xml on the head? If so how do you mount the lights?

Cheers guys, hmmm. I think the Gore is the one for me.

Thanks Iain, how waterproof is the Gore shell?

iainc, cheers for the advice. I like the idea of no warmth as I have used a base layer and just a t shirt in -5 before, I run very hot. I am looking for waterproof and windproof that wont make me over heat. I have read the reviews of the Endura and it worries me it will be redundant for me unless it is very cold and raining. The flexibility of the temp ranges of the gore seems like it might be better for me.

    Does this seem sensible?

    Thanks again.

Are there any other jackets I should be looking at?

How about the endura stealth jacket? Does anyone have any experience of these?

Hmmm, not sure. They don’t seem to be waterproof?

    Thanks,

Had a look at those jackets. Are there any other recommendations that might be a bit more sturdy. I would be a bit worried they might tear if I crashed?

That is great. Thanks guys. What is the water-resitancy like?

I really like the look of that new fabric, the reviews seem fantastic. Are there any companies that produce mountain bike specific jackets in the same material?

    thanks again

I loved the 20 a side games of football with the kids down the street and who could climb the tree the highest. The best was when Rebecca £$%$£* let us feel her t%ts whilst drinking two dogs though! ;) Happy days

Thanks guys, I am with the other half so probably just going to a day trip if possible?

Would it be worth hiring a bike and exploring myself? Our hotel is near Mijas.

    thanks again

Arriving 9th of August and staying for 8 nights. I am looking for red graded singletrack. Don’t mind pedalling but flowing singletrack in a nice setting would perfect.

Yes, I agree they have to give me three months notice also. I was just wondering about the legalities of it all?

Well, I reckon you’ll do a better job than that cowboy! (wouldn’t take much).

I went in to fix my drivetrain. I went to collect and he couldn’t remember what he had done let alone the original problem. He quoted £30 for a half service. Hmmm I thought I didn’t ask for that. I paid and walked off to find the same problem.

I took it back and he asked if I was calling him a liar! Talking truth I thought, anyhow he wouldn’t give me my money back unless I left it over night for him to “undo his work” to get it back to the original state! Ha I laughed but thought I’ll try tomorrow. I returned and he said I have left it how it was I’ll charge you £15. I said I don’t think so pal. I finally got my £30 quid back and my bike in its broken state! What a joke.

    Sorry couldn’t resist the rant.

It’s been on the market for a while. I don’t believe other business interests for one moment.

It probably does have potential but not early retirement material?

How long does it take just out of interest? Also how often do you do it? I only ask as I am considering a similar distance commute.

Dislocated my finger playing cricket (dived to save a four and my finger stuck in the ground and my body went over the top!) Off for four weeks no riding and I miss the semi-finals!

Basil-were all the parts compatible? I had thought about swapping the parts over. Anyone else done that with another frame?
