My mate and I was told by an old Mountain rescue guy that there was a good ridable path from the Dubh Loch up to the path round Carn an t-Saigart Mor and we would be able to ride down to loch Callater and into Braemar (it was games day), well the path from the Dubh Loch was hardly walk-able never mind ride-able, we carried our bikes for a good hour, the ride down into Callater loch was real good fun, we were going to go the Broad Cairn way, we will the next time, the Mountain rescue guy was my mates Dad, he was winding us up, the views back down to the Dubh Loch and to Loch Muick were ace though. 8)

Make sure you key the cement all the way to the back of the gap, and each batch mixed must be the same amount of Sand to cement or the colour wont be the same, and when mixing the cement squirt some fairy liquid into the water and the mix will stay in the gaps better, also if its a hot day it wont dry out to quick with the fairy added. you can buy pointing keys from diy stores to match the gap you are working along , you will need a set if its a random rubble wall as the gaps will vary in size. 8)

I went biking today at 2pm and it was lashing with rain, but two mins out on the trail, the sun came out and it was a topper of a run, an hour or so biking round my local trails in the sun. I was just thinking God must be a Scottish mountain biker with the right to rome thing and the best scenery and trails in Europe, yep the big man up there must be a Mountain Biking Jock. As I said earlier “fas like us” and as DeVs has stated "Damn few and they're aw deed". 🙄

Just back from Quadraphenia, it was very good, but if I had not seen the movie 100 times or more since I was 15 (45 Now) and new what the sound track was like then I would have been totally lost. I would recommend it to all who (no pun intended) likes the who sound and the scooter scene. Well I can put my parka and bowling shoes away for a while, actually I might go and see Who’s-who tribute band at the Lemon Tree Aberdeen on the 29th August. We are the Mods etc etc etc. 8)

We are the MODS, we are the MODS, We are, we are, we are the Mods,I cant wait, i have been listning to the sound track for the movie on my walkman, on the opening night the Aberdeen scooter club done a run from the beach to the theatre and met the cast. oh how i wish i still had a Scooter, and a fringe. 🙄
