Its like most tracks with a lift, after a while you get bored with it. 8)

    Hi Kateski

We as your nearest mountain bike club would be glad to meet up with you to discuss our thoughts for the track as it is.

Poppa, Can I just point out, it should be 'I did Glenshee on Saturday', not done. Or preferably 'rode'.

If I had only stuck in at school and got my grammar right I would be a happier man, NOT.

I would be making a lot less money and lucky to be stacking shelves in ASDA ( No offence to ASDA shelf stackers) 🙄

You could ride up the track past the walkers, then come down again, watch out for the Bikes that spent the £15. 😆

I was wrong in saying that GT did not get it right the first time, 😳 but it was ok for what it was, but each time I have been down to GT it has improved with each visit, just don’t write of Glenshee just because of one poor quality video. 🙄

On the neeps vid, It does look "utterly shite" , but ride shite and it will be shite.
And do you think Glentress got it right when they first started? I think not.
As mentioned the track needs a tweak to make it a great track.
I know the management team will welcome feed back, but there hands are tied a bit by the people from the cairngorm National Park.

I found Glenshee not as boring as the Lecht, mainly due to the chairlift not stopping and starting all the time, and you need to keep and eye on the game to ride at the max, or your away. 😯

Yes bruneep I also saw the neeps vid, and I also thought it looked pretty boring, but we had to try it, it also depends on who has got the camera strapped to their lid. 8)

I to have owned Vespas over the years, I sold my last one to make room for my mountain bike, my first vespa was 100cc Vespa douglas, no key to start it just the kick start, then a Px125 then the classic T5 and the last scoot was the PX200, I would have them all still if I had the room. 8)

My son was being bullied on the school bus (he was small for his age) one day he waited until he got of the bus and laid the bully out with one punch, he just went up to him and smack! The next day when the bus pulled up I was waiting in the car and watching, my son came of the bus and the bullies big brother was waiting to see to my son, and my son laid him out, needless to say no one bullied my son again. But it could have gone the other way and went Pete Tong. My suggestion is to take your son along to your local Judo club, it builds confidence and control when it comes to confrontation, that’s what I done and my son became Scottish Champion and British bronze medallist. This was when my son was 12 or 13 he is now 23 and planning to join the Police.

I agree with stuartie-c, but would recommend this link from the neeps website, its a brilliant run for XC or DH, we done this about six weeks back took us about four hours, as the down hillers had to push most of the ups, but loved the down over Capel Mounth, also the down from just East of Broad Cairn back to the Car park, we done 21 miles but it was great views, great trails for both XC and DH, Gay or other wise, there is about 3 quarters a mile of carrying/pushing up from Bachnagairn to the drop East of Broad Cairn, It would be a well nice run on one of those frosty winter days where the sun comes out but its still chilly. http://www.ecurieneep.co.uk/images/LochMuick/loch-muick_map.jpg Our web site is http://www.9zerofreewheelers.co.uk. 8)

As some riders might just be under the weather the whisky run will be leaving at 10:00 on January the 1st, we are planning a run round the Coils O Muick and having a dram at the top, then weather permitting back to the village via the Green mile. There will be nowhere for hot chocolate, unless we can get Butcher Baz to fill his flasks he uses for BBQ'S.
