    An ex had one.
As others have said, the novelty wears off quickly. I reckon that I used it no more than five times in two years. Keeping it clean was a pain. Slugs love them. It must have cost a fortune to run. When it broke it took her 6 months to sort it out, so I guess she couldn’t be bothered with it.

I prefer the classic loop of coulags, lice, Annat, up the road, past the lodges, up to Coire Lair, down Coire Lair to Achnaschelach and back to coulags. (choose any start point)

I found the ‘lollipop’ route concentrated too much on gaining height at any cost.

I’ve worked in Kuwait in 50 degrees with low humidity. At first it feels like the oven door thing but all the time. After a month or so I was sunbathing at midday and was wearing a jumper when it was 30 degrees!

Anywhere with high humidity is something I cannot acclimatise to.

Edit: I was with the Air Force at the time so when I say worked I actually mean ‘sat around and sunbathed’

People are different. Some sweat more than others.
I sweat so much that I cannot hold onto my grips without gloves.

I don’t know anything about your current injury, but if you were a horse they would have shot you long before now.

I did a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hour round trip for four years. How I stuck it for so long i do not know…..it is a waste of your life.

32.5lbs on scales that are calibrated every 6 months. I always think people’s weight claims are always on the optimistic side.

I’ve just had a wee nip of this (I know, a bit early isn’t it). You can taste the barrel, so is that classed as an ingredient?

The bottom section of the climb out of Rowantree car park, Bennachie, Aberdeenshire.
It’s 15%, about 200m long and has a lot of round edged step-ups. I’m confident I could climb it if I was warmed up, but as it is always at the start of any ride I never am. One of these days I may ride round in circles for 10 minutes and have a go.

Take a snapped one in to a hope stockist and they should arrange a STEEL replacement for you.

Looks like they are getting a bit keen at the moment. This charge is for a shock that I purchased in the UK and sent to America for a £100 re-tune! All clearly marked as such.

It must have been hot in Aberdeenshire, I nearly rode over this guy/girl who was sunbathing.

I’ve used SLR 135 and 165’s and both have coped with crashes that have ripped the leather off. As I say, just glue it back on.

SLR’s are pretty strong. Just glue the leather back on after you crash.

I’ve done 350 miles this year, but have done 45,000ft of climbing.

500 miles a month of this type of riding would be too much for me.

The bearings in one of my Time pedals collapsed today. (Clean as a whistle, just collapsed)

My Marzocchi 44rc3ti’s came back from warranty repair on Friday and lasted 1 hour.

My Whyte 146 frame cracked on Wednesday.
