Riding in mud is great, only if I need to look civilised at work will I use mudguards. Or carry spare clothes.

Druidh, I’ve just had a look there and am properly confused. What the heck is that?! And I thought STW was screwed up ;-)

Would you be able to let him know I’ve been trying to contact him, please? I think I found him here but had no reply to PM either. And I really need the forks, boooo… [walks away sobbing]

Luke was the guy’s real name. I don’t remember his nick, only his email.

firestarter – in your profile go to your website place and type: mailto:lalalala@lala.lal (replace all the lala’s with the real address).

Tell your wife to stop being picky and go back to sleep. Unless your snoring wakes you up it is her being overly sensitive ;-)

    I’ve just found this:

Q: I just got my light and it doesn’t turn off.
A: When your batteries are low, the light locks the switch in its current position. This is a safety feature as we don’t want your light to go completely dark on you, but it’s a backup ñ Change batteries after your low battery light turns on.

    Result!

It did until it was left unused for a month. I was off bikes for 5 weeks but the light worked before.

I was told by a bloke in LBS I need Maxxis Swamp-somethings. Heck, if it’s freezing I’ll be on semislicks, otherwise large but light-ish Intense.

BTW In order to look like a real STW member (sic!) do I allign the logos or do I pretend I don’t care? Am I allowed so-called cool dustcaps? Can I shave? Any other serious[/u][/i] things to consider? :P

ISIS BB’s by SKF aren’t sexy. They’re more like this girl you never fancied but slept with regardless only to discover she gave head like a pro. They work and give you peace of mind (which sadly cannot be said about FSA, RF or Truvativ).

I have a set you can have for £40 posted. Remember – a drunk on the forum, that’s me, tells no lies :-)

Although I supported MU you guys were waaaaaay better. Could anybody explain to me what Kuszczak is doing there? Being a fellow country man means mowt when you’re not very good at all.

One thing, guys. If I were a Jew, and I’m not, I’d remember 5-or-so million of Jews dead in Poland during WW2. That means no matter how politically incorrect or how painful and immoral I’d be bombing the F out of anybody who even tries to attack. Grudges are bad but very powerful.

I’ve used a Bonty ISIS chainset with a SKF bottom bracket for 2 years without issues. Cheap and chearful.

this one for leaving at your house – will secure everything as long enough 1.5 m and will clearly be a detterent… that is all you will get for £25 a detterent.
WAY too heavy to even think about as portable it is a few kg in weight.

To get an uncroppable chain you will be spending hundreds and an uncropable D lock eg New York about £50 -70. I would get this for portability

I have one of those and use it almost daily when working. It is heavy, i looks butch and nobody tried to pick it yet – looks too much for a local chav.

A cheaper option would be to get a motorcycle chain – I bought one ata bike sow for a tenner and the Oxford looks puny in comparison.
