Big dogs are better than little dogs (except Staffies which are bonsai big dogs )

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Jack Russell/Patterdale cross is only little but she will take on any dog no matter what size! She’s an ace dog and I love her to bits. She’s changed my life loads. I got her when I was single and met a woman who had dogs and because Maisey hates anything with more than 2 legs or has fur there’s no chance of me and said woman “getting together” so er that relationship was a no-no. Wouldn’t change how things are at all though.

I’d prefer one of his dads bikes but Jesus that would look nice as a show piece in a house.

If Cal had made a better start he would have finished second I’m sure as he was way way faster into the corners than both Honda riders but had to cut speed off and then got blasted on the straights. Great shame and I’m sure how he is riding and his attitude will go a long long way with Yamaha and if they don’t sign him there might be a Honda works seat going if Pedrosa doesn’t get the title. Pressures on that guy for sure and he’s got to deliver or else this season.

So Vettel has now apologised – says it all really but it won’t change the result. When will people realise F1 is a TEAM event too, not just for the driver. Have we forgotten in the past when one driver has actually given up his car so another driver could win a race? Yes it happened many many years ago and so it’s always been a part of the sport.
I believe both teams, Red Bull and Mercedes did the right thing and ask their drivers to hold station, as much as we don’t like it. But unfortunately Seb decided his need was greater. Went down in my estimation I’m afraid today.

    In no particular order

    U2
    Bruce Springsteen
    The Killers
    Oasis
    Marvin Gaye

As you can see it’s a very very varied list which could easily add REM, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Elbow etc etc to.

You’ve actually picked two lovely breeds of dog there. I have a Patterdale/Jack Russell cross and she’s fantastic and love her to bits. Right now though the hoover is being primed as she’s losing her winter coat and boy does it get very hairy round here when she does. Wouldn’t swap her for the world though.

Loved every single episode but the last one had me in tears of laughter form the beginning with the baby monkey on the pig and Derek singing along to crying with sadness and happy sadness at the end when he runs back to his dad.
I mean no offence to anyone but if you’ve had an experience of life, this series tugs at those strings and you can believe in the characters and the whole episodes. I wasn’t a massive fan of RG but the whole script writing in Derek is just the best thing I’ve ever watched, I believe it’s that good and cannot wait for the next series. Absolutely love it.

That Dumeril is lovely. I’ve never considered one of those and apart from a nice Carpet Python I think my collection is complete – he says lol.

I’m sure that’s a Rock Python. Told you they’re good. There’s this very well known picture of one that got caught on an electric fence. Pretty impressive set of gnashers too

I’m a bit late starting watching it and just had my Season 2 delivered but I absolutely love it. It’s funny yet stark and dark at the same time. The funny bits have you in stitches – the bath falling from the bathroom in Season 1 for instance but the dark moments are so gripping too. Bryan Cranston is a fabulous actor and portrays the part superbly and I’ve always been a big fan of his from his days in Malcolm In The Middle. Brilliant series and can’t wait catch up to you lot too.

    Yes I own a few 🙂

That’s my Green Tree Python and I’ve got a Royal Python and a Dwarf La Bahai Boa which is a dwarf species of Red Tail Boa Constrictor plus I’ve got an Emerald Tree Boa on it’s way too.
Snakes certainly do live long lives and so you must consider this when buying one. As for guarding your bikes in the shed I recommend an African Rock Python or Afrock as we call them. They’re bloody huge and are quite nasty at times so any potential scum bags trying nick your bikes could end up dead haha.

I really think Carlos Crasher with the new Duke will be the man to beat. Would love see Sykes do it but we will have to see but can’t wait and even better as the first race is at the best circuit in the world too.

The last time I saw the SR71 fly was at Fairford many years ago. And yes they do leak fuel on the ground because in-flight due to extreme heat the seals actually all begin to work properly. The fuel is safe on the ground and won’t ignite

As for the planes the OP saw I’d hazard a guess they will either be F-15C’s or F-15E’s from Lakenheath.

organic355 it’s a problem with safari and I had the issues last week and today. You need to clear your safari by re-setting it. Click on the safari icon at the top and there’s an option on the drop down menu. As you’ve sorted it through Firefox anyway at least you will know for later.

Er Wild Boar are definitely NOT to be messed with, especially fully grown males. They can be very very aggressive so you were lucky you didn’t know as you still well may have messed yourself.

All this thread proves is another mans meat is another mans poison. I’m staggered at some choices – “anything by Tarantino” – really?
I’m not a big Nicholas Cage fan but Leaving Las Vegas is in my opinion a staggeringly brutal film and his acting is fantastic. But as stated, just MY opinion.
For me and I know lots won’t understand but I don’t like the Godfather films, maybe I just wasn’t in the right frame of mind when watching them.

What a brilliant end, just like a game of chess and fair play to the Baltimore punter for taking 8 seconds off the clock in his own end zone for the safety! A game of inches and seconds and brilliant drama tonight. What a way for Ray Lewis to bow out of the sport. A proper proper legend and so well deserved.

I think Baltimore need wake up, the break for the lights being down hasn’t done them any good at all.

The Ravens have never been an “offence” team and they don’t rack up big scores and their defence has been the shining light but the offence is really playing well tonight and that’s bad news for the 49er’s.

As above, would love see the Ravens win and Ray Lewis walk away from the sport a winner again. Can’t wait.

I really do think that’s a fake. So do the guys on The Fighter Control forum as well. That canopy looks plastic and there’s no locking mechanism on it either. Utter garbage.

It’s an OBT as they are commonly known, Orange Bitey Thing or Pterinochilus murinus. It’s a very very fast aggressive Tarantula that won’t hesitate to bite or strike out. They can live communally unlike most T’s and I have 3 that live together and are a nice size too. It all could change though when they mature :-/

I’m fine and nice to see some new T’s there too 🙂
Do you know the sex of the Royal? My males at least 4 years old now and is a right old stocky fella. He’s bone idle and I feed him on an irregular basis as they can get fat and flabby if over-fed. I had a female years ago and she was stunning, so very very friendly and we let her roam round the house – supervised of course. Crouchie is a bit grumpy and does hiss every now and then but he had some treatments at the vets where he was having anti-biotic injections every 3 days so I think that pee’d him off. He doesn’t mind being handled but with having the dog now I don’t do it so much – don’t want him striking out when he smells the dog you see.

I’ve bought things because its my money, my hobby and I enjoy music, which hobby wise is the same as someone buying new parts for their mtb really. I agree about the perception about bring in the room etc which is the way the producers hope.
I thought your comment was tongue in cheek but honestly the doubters will thrive on those sort of comments and yes I do believe some expensive kit really does produce stunning sound but trying get that over to doubters or those that aren’t interested is very hard to get across as such. I do believe though our senses trick us and I also believe hifi is like fine wine and food, some people get it and some don’t.
By the way the SP10 you have really looks the part and hope it sounds every bit as good as it looks. Love your choice of arm too 🙂

not only did the female vocalist sound incredible but you could smell her perfume…

And that’s the sort of statement that the common sense man laughs at about people who spend thousands on hifi!!!!! I’ve no doubt her voice sounded very good indeed but “smell” – er speakers generate sound waves not smells and it’s your brain making those senses up which then shows how powerful the brain is and CAN and DOES trick you into believing that one hifi component is better than another. I listen to music, I can enjoy it on an iPhone and my hifi and my senses can be strong using both as some songs make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. The man who pays £50 for his system and gets as much enjoyment as someone who’s paid thousands is the one who’s best off as he can then spend his money on lots and lots of things that will make his life better and I guarantee you 100% that lots of expensive hifi is bought by people who are out to impress people they don’t like or don’t even know.

Yes but I paid £375 for my Ittok LVII new and the Ekos new now is ridiculous money so I reckon a Zeta new would be well over £1k so £410 isn’t bad especially if its low mileage and has good bearings. Tonally they’re more neutral than Linn arms and are easier to match a decent MC cart with. I had another Linn a while back and tried find a Zeta but I kept thinking will it perform as well as a newer arm or am I being misguided by nostalgic memories lol. I never found one and I got an Origin Live Silver instead.

CountZero, I had a Zeta on my LP12 back in the mid Eighties. I originally had the usual Ittok/Asak on my Valhalla Linn but upgraded to the Zeta with a Koetsu Black which is the cart I use now on my SME V arm. The Zeta is a fabulous arm but the bearings are a problem if buying now and they are hard to find in mint condition. It’s hard to judge the sound compared to what I own now but I’m sure if new it would definitely give the V a run for its money and would probably cost the same to make anyway.
