dandax – freak??? How rude pmsl.
I remembered you had the apophysis Roper and you never see them up for sale here in the UK, your a lucky fella indeed. How did it feel getting hit by the bristles?
Someone I know was taking some pictures of his T blondi in the bath as it was white and made the spiders stand out and his missus had a bath after and the spider had “flicked” a few bristles in it and sadly she got tagged by them – he didn’t say where on her body but it doesn’t bare thinking about.

Rob is a legend. There’s one video where he gets bitten by a “pokie” an arboreal spider which I have lots of and you can feel his pain from the bite. It’s sort of funny in a twisted way lol.

If you dropped her she would split open and die. Basically they are soft, no external hard skin and so full of fluids etc. This is why handling them is dangerous to the spiders not you as they are more likely come to harm by running off your hand. I have held some of mine but always close to the ground or over a table and I only handle those that aren’t skittish. Some of my arboreal spiders are so quick that you have to be very careful when opening their enclosures and you must be aware where they are. They are also the most toxic and their venom can do serious damage and have long lasting side effects.

I forgot I’d got this picture. Here’s Pertunia on her former owners hand and she’s grown since then haha

This is Pertunia, she’s my Lasiodora parahybana Salmon Pink Foot Birdeater and she’s about 9 inches span at least, now she is big and bulky too. She once turned over a ceramic water bowl in her RUB (really useful box) chasing after a cricket which is quite impressive for a spider. She’s more like a bulldozer lol. If you think her leg span is over 9 inches you can work out how big her body is and it’s big. I’d like to try hold her to give you an idea but her bristles make you itch so I might have to get a rubber glove first lol.

njee – the appeal is I love animals, all types. If I had the space and money I would have birds of prey and one day I hope to have an Eagle Owl.
Spiders are fed such things as crickets and yes they are alive as spiders don’t take dead food generally but these as adults will take dead baby mice but I’ll never feed them that as it’s very messy.
    She’s called Bella as well.
Cost wise she cost me £70 which isn’t bad as they live for 20-30 years with some species, some even more. There’s known cases of Red Knee Mexicans going over 40 years old and they can cost anything from £8 to £40 for an adult female.
I’ve not counted how many I have but it’s a few he says lol. Seriously it works out cheaper to keep more as when you buy a tub of crickets at £2 a pop you don’t get any wastage feeding a lot of spiders instead of just one – if that makes sense.

    Green Tree Python -“Merauke” species
Common Boa Constrictor – male who’s 7ft long and is as soft as a brush
    Dwarf Boa “La Bahia” female
    Royal Python – male

Basically it was and is a good solid design, slack manufacturing tolerances and didn’t require much in the way of maintenance. Not very accurate at all but it didn’t need to be. It was also incredibly easy to mass produce and was in many many countries too.

Why not use Overlockers again then? They’ve moved to new premises I think as I walked past a sign yesterday advertising stuff near where I live.

This is a topic that will go on and on forever and sadly both sets have their idiot set. I hate anyone who jumps a red light and it’s unbelievable when you see a cyclist do it as at least in a car you have some “protection”
I don’t know why that a minority of cyclists seem to think you don’t need to stop at a red light and it baffles me.
To answer one post though whoever jumps a red light, yes the cyclist may get hurt and a driver doing it won’t but just remember the trauma caused the any driver who does hit a cyclist who jumps a red light and seriously injures that person or worse still kills them as sadly it’s the innocent party that has to live with it.

I’m selling some lovely Float 34’s that have had the new cartridge fitted. Yes they did have their problems but they’re sorted now. Mine are tapered steerer too so if your interested drop me an email or have a look in the classifieds at them.
I like Fox forks and they do look the part. Never had any issues with my 32’s and 36’s. Fox aren’t the only manufacturer who’s had issues with a new product either and Rock Shox have made a few turkeys in the past too so lets not forget that.

It depends greatly on how you both are with each other. My ex and I didn’t split up well and it was nasty but in the end we sorted everything out amicably and never involved a solicitor at all. But everyones different.

I’d plumb for an Ortofon 2M Red as they’re not too expensive (£60) and for the phono stage get a Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 (£160) and your sorted. You’ll easily sell the Slee if you get fed up of vinyl as well. Nice tt you bought, it was my first “real” hifi turntable until I bought my Linn LP12. Bargain price as well you got it for.

Hadge couldn’t be arsed lol. You need to make sure it’s clamped very securely as your drilling top dead centre on the bar and so it’s easy be off to one side and then your hole will wander off and be a mess. Make sure you are drilling it directly over the very centre and use a centre drill. Use paraffin as a lubricant as it is best for home use instead of proper cutting fluid. I would actually use an 8mm drill and drill it just so it’s got the full diameter in the bar and then I’d remove it and drill it with a 7.8mm drill all the way through and then you could either ream it 8mm or you could use a nice new 8mm drill and take it slowly and drill it and if you are careful you will be very close to your 8mm size but if you definitely need the 8mm a very good size then ream it. The reason for spotting it with the 8mm at the beginning is to give the reamer or 8mm drill a good start to cut with as if you leave too much material you’ll have trouble drilling or reaming it. But you must make sure your on the centre line of the bar when drilling okay. Is that alright for you? Oh and if I was doing this at work I would hold the bar in a vice on a milling machine, clock between the jaws so I could guarantee I was in the middle and then do the drilling process I gave above.

I help make the Burgtecs so I will shed some light on them. First off they’re fully CNC machined from solid billets of aluminium. These means they are very strong and won’t shatter unlike your cast pedals. You can upgrade the axles to some ti ones if you wish and not being biased they are rather pimp. We just had an offer where you could have some custom etching done on them but it’s just finished now.
Here’s me just machining lots of the lovely pedals at work.

If you have some 34’s and they’re blowing through their travel, contact Mojo and get them sorted. There’s an updated cartridge you can fit (or they will) and it rectifies the problem.

How many so called “great marriages or relationships” are built on or kept going by sex? The trouble is you’ll never get a true answer as too many people will not want to be seen by others as “failing”
There are many many things that keep relationships together and if you need proof ask any soldier who’s had his legs and tackle blown off by an IED and they’re still very happily married/living together. Love and trust go much deeper than sex. Lots and lots of opinions I’m sure but only you know if your actually happy on all fronts to stay together.

Do you really believe he actually “competed” with Jorge, Marc or Dani? Sorry but I don’t not by a long shot. More often than not he had a poor start, made up places due to his skill in riding on worn tyres but if Cal had managed to stay on more I think he could have seriously challenged for the 4th spot and that’s not on a works bike. The last race he just couldn’t match the leading 3 at all and sadly it happens to all great sportsmen and women, they reach the end and Rossi is sadly there and yes he will sell endless tickets to races and bikes for Yamaha but as a genuine contender, he won’t be and I’m a Rossi fan too.

Totally agree with you about Vale clutching at straws now and I fear next year will be another fruitless year and a year too long racing. I know he won at Assen but both Pedrosa and Jorge were injured and yes I know that’s part of racing. But too many races this year he’s been so far off the pace and I really feel for JB being the fall guy.
I wanted Jorge win the title too but you cannot question the sheer talent that is Marc Marquez. How he rides that Honda is just incredible but he was also so so lucky at Mugello to walk away after his 200 plus mph crash.

parkesie, I was NOT stating you personally being on a soap box but the general public. I would hazard a guess there are a few soldiers who stand by the accused soldier, just as there are those who believe he’s guilty too. The “facts” are why we are there in the first place – is it right or wrong. I take my hat off to you for being there under difficult circumstances and would not swap roles one bit.

Deservedly so as it would seem

Very easily said when sitting on the end of a keyboard. Not going in to the rights and wrongs why we are there or shouldn’t be there, I don’t doubt for a minute those soldiers don’t go through some things that “normal” people just couldn’t cope with or comprehend at all. Seeing your mates limbs blown away, or killed – sorry it can’t be good. But I also know 2 wrongs don’t make a right and so to pass judgement and stand on your soapbox is very easy and for me it’s all a no-win situation for anyone and that’s both sides of this “conflict” I have my own opinions and I know unless you have all the correct facts it’s impossible to make the right choice.

The Killers – it’s called “change” or “taking a different direction” They’ve attracted a new set of fans and in concert they still do all their classics like Mr Brightside and When We Were Young etc and they’re still great at doing those. I must admit I like their earlier stuff and now they seem more “Mr Flowers” than Killers but if it’s your poison then it’s fine.

Not even a Leeds fan but it was Peter Lorimer. He hit a ball so hard and I tried to do the same when I was a kid. Would have to say Gordon Banks was up there too and he was a friend of the family too.

How about a lot of people all standing in a line and then use a Barrett .50cal sniper rifle from point blank range with an armour piercing round? You could take a few heads off with that, well in my dreams you could pmsl.

I charge my 4s every day, sometimes it has to get topped up in the day too and I’m not a heavy user so I just think iPhones have poor battery life. I did the update to i0S7 and the battery ran down so quick but I’d not noticed it has turned the Bluetooth function on so once that was off it’s back to being it’s normal self.
Be nice to customer services and you might get some reward from them as definitely mouthing off won’t get jack shit.

Go Cowboys – so that’s 2 of us hehe. Really enjoyed last nights game although I’m a little tired now. Thought our D played well but wasn’t convinced by our Offense as 3 turnovers should have yielded more than just 6 points. To be only 3 up at half-time seemed so wrong.

I’m recording tonights game and I’ll watch it tomorrow. Really is good having all this NFL on the box – 2 games with Sky, 1 with Ch4 and now on Eurosport too. Brilliant.

Joking aside, claiming what she did on Facebook isn’t bright but she wanted her 5 minutes of fame I guess. If I want “revenge” on someone then I’d do it and say nothing, I’ve no qualms about that and if they deserve it that’s fine by me.
Where I live there’s a main road where residents who have quite large drives leave their cars on the pavement and they do block it completely at times and anyone with a pushchair, wheelchair wouldn’t be able get past whatsoever and I hope someone does damage their cars as they’re completely pig ignorant of their parking and what they force pedestrians to do. Even worse when it rains the cars going past absolutely soak anyone walking as the drains in the roads are all blocked so nothing drains away. I’m sure the car owners will be reported soon as it’s getting worse.

Although women don’t compete together with men in shooting disciplines, many years ago the absolute world record for air-rifle was held by a woman. Maybe one day they will be allowed in such events as snooker or darts.

Thinking of ditching my contract as well. Don’t really make many calls and as I have magic numbers on Orange, most my family and friends are so calls are free and don’t text much either as I use whatsapp loads. The iPhone 4S is a pretty good phone with all the features I need, plus I luckily had a new replacement within the last 4 months and so my contract ends next month so I’ve got a virtually new phone as it is. Mmmm must mull it over.

I rarely read a book more than once but I’ve read LOTR 3 times but one book I do make sure I read over and over again is Stephen Kings “The Stand” IMO it’s his best book ever and he’s wrote some brilliant books.

Look for a 3-head Aiwa deck as they had very good reviews when produced years ago. Naks are mighty fine but collectors keep the prices up. I have a Dragon that sadly needs a bit of TLC or else otherwise you could have loaned it out. Should get it seen to and flog it as they go for stupid money, instead of it being stored away in it’s box. Oh well never mind.
You could always buy a decent deck then sell it once you’ve done what you need doing but then you take a risk on it not selling again.
