You mean Rock Shox make good ones!!!!!!!!! Only joking but for what it's worth it has to be the Indy's. Had some SL's and they were utter utter shitte. Only had two other pairs of RS forks since then and if it wasn't for getting them incredibly cheap, I wouldn't of had them. Reba World Cup Black Box – crap. Got them for £200 and sold them for a lot more – only had them because I saw a fast buck. Years ago I had some SID's and did exactly the same with them.

If anyone thinks amps don't sound then you are wrong. It's like saying all bikes ride the same and they don't. The reason people have them serviced is certain components age, causing a change in the performance of the amp.
The funny thing with all this though is that other forums, be it hi-fi or whatever think us bikers are all loonies for thinking our bikes ride different as they all have two wheels don't they. Stick to what you know about, which doesn't always work judging by some of the drivel on here.

Check the network name. Had similar problem with my Belkin router today. I switched my gf's laptop on and it renamed the network! I re-set it back to what it was but it still didn't work. So I went into the router settings on main pc and restored it to factory settings. Since then it's worked fine. I've had a few problems with my new Belkin router, one of my laptops, a brand new HP expensive jobby just won't connect to it. Doing my head in and looks like I will have to contact HP for help.

Lol mudshark – snakes are't social animals and they generally live alone and as owners we don't take them to meet up with others. Constrictor snakes will lie in ambush for days on end which is why they don't need large enclosures but letting them out every now and then is good for them. But to leave one alone in a garden is stupid and not normal at all. The alleged son letting the spider out shows these people have no idea how to look after animals like that. It would do the spider no good whatsoever. Males do wander, purely to find females where as females will find a hole and wait for prey etc. They also don't benefit from sunlight, much prefering dark enviroments. But as usual, just like some dog owners, they don't research what they are buying and don't give them the proper care and attention they need.

That'll stop the cat crapping in his garden pmsl. I like how they mention the micro-chip – as though it was going to protect it. Nah, just for ID purposes when it was dead. Very funny but I guess not for the cats owners. But yet again we see the over-reaction to the situation asking for a change in the laws. It wasn't the snakes fault, it was the snakes owners who should take the blame and not the many many thousands of responsible reptile owners in the UK. I am a snake owner and I wouldn't leave my snake unattended in the garden whatsoever. Yes I do put my python outside to bask in the sun at times but I'm always there with it and my neighbours cat never comes anywhere near the garden. Never mind.

I used moneymarket.com last year to get insurance for my BMW 330Ci and the lowest quote I had was with Admiral, which did surprise me being one of the bigger companies so I plumbed for them. A year later, renewal came and although it was cheaper I still looked on the net and got two quotes cheaper but didn't quite have what I wanted. So I rang Admiral, spoke to a very polite lady, told her the details from the other quotes, mixing the best bits from both to try and get a better deal from her. A short silence as she had to speak to her "supervisor" and then she came back, way cheaper than their quote, cheaper than anyone on the net and also over a longer term. All for the sake of a phone call. Lesson learned – never accept what is put up in front of you but haggle. In my case it certainly worked and saved me £75 and got me two extra months.
And by the way, as for Direct Line who don't use price comparisson sites I can see why. Absolutely way way more expensive than what I pay now, in fact nearly twice as much. So use the net and the price sites and get the best deal for you.

Can you tell which network it's connected to? If so contact them with the IMEI number inside the phone. That might help if it's original owner.

If anyone on here knows what Malia is like it doesn't surprise me something like this hasn't happened ealier. It is a youngsters resort, gets very loud and very full of drunks – mostly English ones. I passed by the place on the way to another resort and it looks lively to say the least.

Had the new Intense in our shop being built up the other day, boy did it look sweet. The reviews on it are all very good and if it's better than my old 5.5 then I'd go for that one.

    BMW 330Ci M Sport – and it's ace :D

After the Capri I spent many years being driven round by my better halves. Meant I could drink and get merry lol. My place of employment has only been about a mile away so never really needed a car so the wife used to have the car all the time and I spent my money on my bikes.

I’ve got 16gb of music and video’s. My old laptop is with the insurance company and they are sending me the hard-drive back as it’s got all my tunes on it. I think I’m going get an extrenal drive as I need to back my photo’s up as well.

Goldtec Pro Comp hubs are lighter than Hope’s, therefore using the same nipples, spokes etc they will be lighter! DT240’s hubs are lighter too and I would have any of those compared to Hopes anyday. If your trying build to a spec, a few quid extra is well worth it IMO.

Going tubeless saves weight and punctures so if it’s for XC stuff then go for it. I used the NoTubes on my Olympic rims and had no problems at all. Can’t speak about the Hope hubs though but I run Goldtec Pro Comps (as I make them) and they were very light indeed.

Both rotors are 183mm, always run that size combo

My Summer Season comes in at spot-on 28lb with no lightweight bits really. Could easily knock a bit off but that would be missing the point. Going to change the rear hub to a Burgtec but won’t much difference

If I were you I’d go for the 18″. I’ve got a 16″ and the cockpit although not cramped, is tight and I’m 5ft 8ins running a 70mm stem and in-line post. The post has to be out quite a way too for climbing in the saddle stuff. Cracking frame though for the money, you really can’t go wrong with it.

Fox Floats. I have the new 09 ones with the 15mm QR and they are superb forks. Better than Talas in my opinion as they seem to have way less stiction in the the seals. They react to very small bumps but still have full control over anything big. I found the Talas 08’s I had needed a big bump to get them going so don’t rate them as good as the Floats at all.

Use both Spesh and Sidi Dragon’s and the Spesh are the best. Much better fit due to BG design so it’s a thumbs up for those

My Summer Season 456. Not the lightest (28lb) but feels good and solid. Still tweaking with the controls at the moment but think it’s almost there as I’m now running all the spacers underneath the stem. Just gone tubeless with the Stans system as well.

Putting together a team of big name players doesn’t guarantee you anything and frankly I think it’s a terrible move. But I’m glad in one respect as being a Liverpool fan there was all the talk of him coming to us – at the cost of Xavi Alonso!!! I’m afriad Barry isn’t anywhere near as good as Xavi so glad he ain’t coming. Last season there wasn’t one game where City showed any class at all, just a bunch of very mediocre players and one shining light (maybe)

Goldtec – because you can get it with normal QR caps as well in case you change your forks or sell the wheel. There’s been some issues with Shimano’s offerings which is unusual given there usual quality. The Pro Comp AM 15mm hub is really kight but very strong too

Good choice Swiftacular, I love Tanzies. Had a big tank with some gorgeous specimens in – it’s when you look at them very close-up and see just how beautifully marked they are. Would love set another Malawi tank up. They were the only fish I ever made any money on. Had some spectacular wild Haps that became show fish on my local Aquariun shop.

I think Bob’s opinion with the tool is you use it once but please email me any comments so I can pass them on. Regarding finish, it’s like CK hubs – they are very very well finished off and I would say they are the best for that. I’ve owned CK, Tune, DT, Hope and Shimano plus our own obviously and there isn’t a great deal to choose between the best of them. I’m going to have a play with some old hubs see if there’s any way I can improve the finish.
Maybe the floating rotor does look close but it will definitely work.

Joshua Tree is their finest IMO and I love the early stuff too. But to me they haven’t stood still and still make music that appeals to new listeners yet still has it’s roots in the early stuff. Got my tickets for Sheffield and can’t wait see them – bring it on :D

5 mins to set the CNC lathe up!!!!! Lol you sound like Bob – only kidding Bob. Takes about 2hrs set all the machine, tooling up. I’m sure it’s done in two operations as well so double the set-up time. Machining is very quick but we do work to fine tolerances as well – to ensure our customers get good quality stuff.

Yeah lecht, I do work at BETD for my sins he he

Daffy!!! Is it decent????? Course it is – I made it he he. Can’t comment on price I’m afraid but I guess we won’t sell shed loads and it still takes quite a bit of time setting up and then there’s design costs etc to try claw back. Glad your happy with it and I will speak to Bob next week about a 20mm to 9mm conversion kit – if it can be done/made etc. Cheers lads :D

You remove the existing CK end caps and slide the new BETD axle unit in. The CK caps may require a slight tap to remove them so if you going to save them be careful ok. I’m pretty sure that’s all there is to it :-)

A club can have a 100,000 fans in the stadium but it’s what’s on the pitch and how the club is run that counts and Castle are crap. How many of their players would make it in any other team? Owen’s gone. His only weapon was pace, that’s gone and he is so injury prone now. I’m a Liverpool fan and yes he had some good years for us but he missed some absolute sitters in his days with us. Robbie Fowler was a far far better player than him.
Viduka ain’t what he used too. I reckon Duff and Butt are the only genuine players of any skill etc that would be taken in another club.
As for the complete tosser Barton, I hope no club ever picks his contract up. He is a disgrace to any professional player. He’s been given too many chances and should be give his P45 for good.
Mike Ashley has ran the club into the ground. His attitude is crap and his running of the club has gotten them where they are today. I genuinely feel for Shearer. He is a true footballer, a proper gent but he’s blinded by 50,000 odd thousand Geordies who think there team is above anyone else when they don’t deserve anything. You have to earn that Castle fans – not expect it. Never mind Castle – enjoy your trip to Scunthorpe etc he he

Went up there end of last year and really enjoyed it. Stayed in a cottage near the race course so just a short walk into the city and not have to worry about parking. Will go again later this year with the kids for sure.

Which frame you looking at? I know the 575 does come up large. My mates riding a medium and he would normally ride a large. Best bet is have a demo on one. Where you based? Llandegla did have one but we are Yeti dealers at BETD so could get hold of something for you. I rode a medium and I’m 5ft 9ish but I reckon I could have easily ridden a small frame.
