Jesus they're your kids and shouldn't you be there for them at all times anyway? If they were untidy and messy when they lived with you before then yeah, set out ground rules and let them know but don't make them feel uncomfortable. I always felt when I moved back in when my marriage failed that it wasn't right as I'd had my own space and I missed that very much. But everyones circumstances are different and so do what you feel is right. As long as mine didn't destroy my house now I'd let them come back any day.

Given how dull F1 is these days I guess it's the most entertainment we will get all year

Buy a decent scanner (say a Canon 8800F) and then scan them, plus any photo's you have and after you've finished sell it. You will easily get at least 3/4 of your money back especially if you keep it in good condition. Yes it will take a while but you can remove bit's of dust etc on your slides and crop them easily too. Well worth it in the end too.

Chealwatches – don't use anyone else! They are very very good and won't charge you a fortune. I always have mine done there and a friend of mine who sells them also uses them.

It is a very very good programme and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The facts are mind-boggling and the quality of the film in HD is also very good too.

There's also more over-taking on your average commute as well pmsl

Formula 1 is dead and has been for years. It's as dull as dishwater with drivers who have as much charm as a four year old dog turd! Why anyone would even class it as entertaining now is beyond me and yes – I've followed it for years but I've had enough of it now and don't bother anymore. If you want racing it has to be bikes, MotoGP or WSB. You'll see more over-taking in one lap with those guys than you will in a complete F1 season and the skill is amazing too. Do yourselves a favour guys and watch the bikes instead.

Totally agree with you TimTom. I'm lucky in that my local trail is just a mile away so riding on the road for that bit's ok and as soon as I get there if it's really muddy the Trailrakers mean I can get up all the climbs, have plenty of grip in the corners and actually "ride" all the way round instead of getting off and walking!!!

Trail centres are generally different as "most" drain very well so you can use one that gives you the best combination of grip and speed but again you have to try them and find which is best for you. I run Nobby Nics and they're ok but it's a never ending search find the best so good luck.

Never mind saying a lot depends on the trails a lot also depends on the riders weight too! A friend of mine can run virtually slicks even in mud but weighing less than 9 stone and being a racing snake does help! Too many expect the same tyre perform the same no matter what weight bike or rider they are and it doesn't work that way at all. Come winter mud the only tyre that will get me up steep muddy climbs is a Trailraker yet I've seen the same lad do the same climb with hardly any tread on his tyre and it wasn't anything do with technique either. So bear that in mind too.

More tpi will definitely help as it won't split the edges of the steerer tube. I used a junior hacksaw and it was fine as I didn't have any other blades.

Are you colecting it from the shop Nick? I might pop down Saturday if you are.

You would be very very happy with any one of them. I've had earlier models of all those and my choice wouldn't be any of them as it would another "earlier" bike and that would be the 5 Spot. The one problem with trying to pick one of those or any bike is you really really need to have the bike for some peroid of time find out exactly what the good and bad bits are. Then you find out things like bearing issues, build quality, bike geometry etc etc and only riding them over a long period do you find these things out.
I would choose between the Tracer and the ASR5 as I really like those but would definitely try ride them before I bought one.

My workmate used to ride for CRC, don't know what he did with his bike but I will ask him Monday. It was a gorgeous blue Intense, very very nice bike indeed.

I'm running one on my 5 Spot and they are very good – so far. I've never been a fan of RF HT2 bb's but as far as the cranks go, they are very stiff. RaceFace rings are always good and on my older Deus XC chainset I had a couple of years ago they lasted way way longer than my XTR butter rings. The newer M970 rings are much better though so RF will have to go some way beat those. For that money they are a bargain though and I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

    Golden Eagle – utterly majestic
    Snowy Owl – stunning plummage
    Barn Owl – silent killer

I have Goldfinches in my garden all the time, along with Wrens and they are both lovely to see and watch.

As was said before, it's only free if it's from a bank account and not a debit card or credit card. I ask buyers as I hope they can trust me and PayPal and eBay fees are getting ridiculous. I now try sell items at a price that takes those fee's into account so I sell a bit cheaper as I understand what fleabay will take off me if I didn't.
As for costly items I ask for bank transfer as it's safer and no charges. A frame I sold for £550 on here would have been hit by about £70-80 if sold on fleabay and so I gave incentives (free saddle etc) to anyone buying it for the price I asked. Winners both ends then :-)

Stoo – it's going tomorrow as I've only just had cleared payment from PayPal! Them and eBay are really peeing me off lately with their charges and bloody late transfers but sometimes you just get stuck with them.

Thanks for help and I'd got the gist of making sure your HD is attached BEFORE adding any further files so at the mo it's looking ok.

Yeah I've seen how to set it up when I did a google search and it said back stuff up on dvd – just in case. I guess that's because of info getting lost from moving files. Grrrrr

Your scales are way out as that's never near 29lb! I'd say more like 27 maybe a bit less.

The one built up had stuff like SLX fitted, no real lightweight parts fitted but will check tomorrow if I get chance. The bare frame comes in at 3lb and after holding the raw carbon model I can well believe it.

Ride them both as that's the only way of finding out. I've had a 575 and it was a superb bike but wasn't my favourite long-travel XC bike as that was my 5 Spot which is why I bought another.

Joshua Tree, Unforgtable Fire and then No Lne On The Horizon. Their latest album I really do believe is very very good and after seeing them at Sheffield shows how much better polished their stuff is. I am a big fan and it's as usual – each to their own but I look past what pop stars do or say, in fact anyone be it sportstar whatever. What matters to me is what they do and U2 have stood the test of time.

It's because you associate everything coming from the Swiss as being very good and it works – unlike DT Swiss forks which don't as they are just rebadged Pace crap instead – stands back and waits for a slagging off pmsl.

I believe the DT Swiss forks are different from the Pace offerings but I still wouldn't buy them as reviews haven't been that kind and the price they ask is just ridiculously high.

RR is very very good and is brilliant when pedalling uphill. The spring works in your favour and stops you twanging your mech. I though switched to SRAM and X.0/X9 stuff as the shifts are way way more positive compared to normal Shimano shifters and that applies to XTR, XT etc as I've used them all. I was always a big S fan until I tried X.0 mechs and shifters and I doubt I will ever go back.

Dam, I didn't even get to have my say!! We've been making that kit for ages now as the genuine CK one has for some reason taken ages to appear. Ours even works with FOX forks and floating rotors as this was an issue with the CK jobbie.
Lecht – the tool has been changed since the first ones were produced as I believe someone mentioned it to me and it was changed straight away.
