    did you choose the geometry?
Why the incredibly short front-centre and tall front end?

Mick snapped his bars but being top 20 should be protected and good to go tomorrow.

Amazingly the two Sam’s (Dale and Hill) still qualified with rear flats

and Gwin still made the cut easily with two of these..

and I’ve no doubt there’ll be strong words tonight in the debrief and over the next few months across the whole pro peleton.

Why? isn’t it another 4 years until they’ll ride as a team again in an olympics?

Yes, Homer, Danny is injured. Do keep up 😆

if Gwin doesn’t take it and it’s proper sloppy Hill may finally be back in with a shout, Pascal used to be amazing in the mud too and it’s a track he’s comfortable on.

…whereas, your post is helpful GW?

Would have been if he’d listened.

For me all sense of style left Pro road racing when they were forced to wear helmets.

all the riders wearing ugly helmets is one of the reasons I find it hard to stay interested these days.

    shallow I know 8)

Neither. Mega has better Geometry for me but the Titus has a preferable suspension system. would have thought there’d be be a Specialized that pisses over both of them?

unlike 26″ bikes for some there is no 29er in production that will be right for them no matter how much variety there is in them (which lets be honest here isn’t exactly loads)

looking at some of these I can’t help but think if you’re not going to eat them, set them free

Sam, if someone’s forcing drink and weed into you in order to have their way with your back passage tell us now. I’m sure someone here will be able to point you in the right direction for help.

Why would we have to be on one side or the other?

I think the Olympics is a massive waste of money but like watching sport so will watch some of it.

I don’t even pick a side when I watch football. I simply watch sports enjoy the skill and drama

oh.. and we are pretty much an island of clowns! look at the royal family 😉

nwill – is a 5’11″/6′ male considered to be a midget these days?

I ride a small/short STP (14″ seat tube) with a 410mm post and QR, double chainset/8spd cassette and light but strong build for everything from all day XC to DH to dirtjumping/4X/BMX track/pissing about and it’s much more versatile than a friends blender (quicker DH and better at jumping too 😉 )

the more common large/long size STP has roughly the same length seat tube as a blender but much better geometry all round.

What 4x bikes have you climbed on Andy?

Geometry on any 4x bike I’ve ridden has been better for climbing than a blenders’ and a 4x frame should be both stiffer and lighter too.

Binners you have deepseated issues with your sexuality don’t you? The second you step away from your bike in any cycle clothing you uually look like a bit of a dick but having said that I did once somehow manage to pull a barmaid while wraring lycra in a pub and another time propositioned by a prostitute, still been chatted up by more men than women while wearing it tho.

Molgrips – how do you come to the conclusion it’s ok for you to call me wrong, when I’m right but not for me to tell you you’re clueless? “clue” is in the word. Clueless = not having a clue about the subject your talking about. do you still disagree with my choice of word? and while we’re at it, why can’t my choice of word be “lighthearted” too?

I’ve suggested you actually put some time and effort into choosing your car childseats in the first place. but yes, if the seats you have are not suitable funnily enough I would recommend you change them. I didn’t suggest you add another seat to your badly chosen two. I’ve already told you it’s not simply size that matters it’s also how well each seat fits beside one another..

But if you can’t be bothered putting in the effort, by all means get a T5 with a rear row of seats and nice alloys and you’ll fit right in at the trail centres with whatever two childseats are currently in vogue with the users of STW/Mumsnet (Do I need to putt a smiley in?)

Yes, clueless. By your own admission you seem to have the vast experience of 2 car seats presumably chosen without first trying them together in your car to go on.
Me calling you clueless is no more “abrasive” or “not nice” than you calling me wrong, the difference here is I’m right.

of course I’m not going to list every car seat I have ever used and every combination that works (it’s a lot) and even if I owned a camera I wouildn’t be running around taking pics to satisfy your need for proof. Go to any store that has a wide range of baby/child car seats and boosters and you will see they are not all the same size or shape. if you want 3 in the rear row of a normal family car fitted securely you simply need to take time in choosing 3 seats apropriate for your childrens size/age of a size and shape that fit side by side nicely. there will def be 3 that fit nicely in your Passat (the Fiesta was just an example to illustrate size of car)..

And the kids. Forward facing ones mesh with rear facing ones sometimes, but your kids have to be the right ages for that.

    Clueless ^^

    Pics or you’re wrong.

Trust me I’m right, I have a selection of no less than 12 childseats to choose from and 12 kids ranging in age from 12mths to 21 years if you want to bring almost any small family car round and be proven wrong on every count. Bring a case of beer with you while you’re at it for my time.

Most cars will take 3 child seats. You simply need to find he right child seats

What’s the Pleney main line got to do with steep and rooty?, it’s so badly maintained it’s shit on any bike. Plenty other nice steep fun technical descents to ping a hardtail down the same mountain.

    GW

RBut that may because my experience and skill level on skis is considerable higher.
    This ^^

A little 100mm ht is loads of fun on steep wet rooty DH tracks in the same way short skis might be fun on super steep technical ski runs if you can ride em well enough

Bike “looking like” another bike shocker!

If you want a completely original design commission an artist to build you a frame
