    I have (*it was cheap)
not used much and can’t compare as only light I have, anyway:
    – fitting, different but works fine (headeset bolt replacement with battery bracket)
    – general quality – goood,
    – usability – fine for me
    – I would describe it as ok for night riding in an area you know (on high), and I couldn’t see many badgers getting sunburnt, lower settings I found a bit dim but used on tarmac

if you’re near Reading can have a look

    found it – read this

how much of the debt belongs to Scotland ?

the divorce process will take many years, without the husband being able to vote, and with huge and costly battles over who owns what

I get it quite a lot from the horsey brigade (who I get on with well apart from woman with large pointer that chased after me at full tilt barking – I had words with her, a few of them limited to 4 letters)

    Mind you
“while out yesterday (X) i was amazed at the amout of illegal tracks across the trails. Some were large but many were very small.

    Who does this and why?

have you ever come across anyone doing it and if so what you said to them?

i am guessing it’s the red lycra brigade but can’t understand it really ”

    For
    – load capacity (2 bikes, fronts out, single seat out, down side leaving 2 behind seat for dirty gear on seat for other))
    – ease of loading (no lip, square etc, tie points etc)
    – comfy (for me and gf)
    – 52ish mpg at normal driving (roughly to speed limit but this is with very limited stop/start town traffic)

    Against
    – not good at going quick (low top speed and rolls on corners, not brilliant acceleration)
    – mpg plummets (30-35ish at sustained mway high speed 85/90+)
    – overtaking at 60 requires road/planning

Quality is ok so far, 12,500 services,

you need to get on google etc and get a manual for your machine.

if you can take the lid/back off and work out where motor the brushes caps (which it may or may not have) should be easy to spot (possibly two sticky out bits at 180′) that the end caps pop off or unscrewed
    (get the manual)

alternatively go ebay – <model> brushes, they are modelish specific

anyway in a lot of cases they are carbon on a spring (spring pushes against cap and keep carbon in contact with motor – wear out down to spring – no circuit – no motor ..)

deffo worth some basic checking, there might be sparks, or a smell if they’re gone
this lot are useful – http://shop.ezee-fix.co.uk/index.html

also worth googling on model and symptons

by ‘motor gone’ do you mean bushes worn out ?, coz that’s an easy fix

you could try soaking in pentrating oil then an easyout (screws in to a hole in reverse then you keep going and it may screw the bolt out))

I once managed to get a bolt out by drilling closer and closer to the hole width[dead centre and marginally smaller drill] and then getting a small screwdriver under the remaining thread (of the stuck bolt) and managed to pull the thread out without damaging the hole thread

have a look at spice (social /adventure club)
    http://www.spiceuk.com/home?handshaked=true
it is expensive BUT you get to try new things and that in turn lets you meet find new interests and meet people with similar interests. You can do adventure or mellow weekends.
If you want to meet people you need to do weekends/holidays as if you just do a afternoon type thing peole come/do/go, on hols/weekends you get to know people.

Also – where I am libraries have a clubs folder – of all local socities, and there will probably be evening classes/adult education etc not too far away etc.

poly, politians, IMHO, form a significant part of the ‘entitlement culture’.

Here is a worked an true example
    knock knock
    me – hallo
X -I’m canvassing on behalf of the liberal demotwatts
    X – straigt into pitch
me – can I just stop you there, frankly I think we have too many politicians and most of them seem to be uaccountable
    X – **** off you c**t

    it really did happen

    maths looks good *(BBC)

    Scotland
    Party Seats Total Votes
    SNP 53 902,915
    Labour 15 630,461
    Conservative 3 276,652

so most people didn’t want SNP but SNP gets vast, vast majority of seats…….. (*this is not anti SNP, Wales is the same re Labour), I’m just pointing out that the majority of people in Scotland who voted did not vote SNP but they will be governed by them – so I’m failing to see how the current system can be legitimately described as either fair or working (in any part of UK).

how many staff, ie how many weekends would you have to do a month, days a week etc – or is it just you ???????????, if you’ve been up at 4 oclock in the morning for 2 hours do you need to do a normal day as well ???

I’m asking as you need to make sure your ‘life/work’ balance isn’t screwed.

Make sure that the call escalation process goes to senior management and that they MUST supply phone nos as well (you could be sick , on holiday etc etc).

? can you do via latest mobile device/phone and get company to pay all costs ?

get a tool, thin blade with handle (rectangle, 6″ high, foot long, handle in middle), goes between carpet and skirting, lever carpet away, paint skirting (and back of blade)

(like a plastering trowel but bigger and thinner)

my dad used an old coal shovel with the blade straightened….

Aye, if the snp win in Scotland we can probably go in there as well, at least we’ll save money on travel costs as we won’t need carriers, it’s a lot nearer than Syria, sorry Libya.

I’m 5ft 5ish and did trail/enduro etc. Seat height is an issue (esp with seat width), but you can compensate with skill and experience. I’d suggest starting on something low (and cheap) and making sure you are good at slow speed trickle and footing/dabbing (sticking a foot out very quickly to push you back upright as the less vertical they are the heavier they are).

From a mechanical perspective you can:
    – get a rear suspension lowering link but a custom one would be expensive
    – drop the forks down the yokes
    – get a custom seat, less padding, thinner profile

On enduro bikes I was literally tiptoe(*in motocross boots), so I used to always get off left(when under control), slide across seat so right thigh was on seat and left foot fully down and to go, jump up, gear and off, practise is your friend.

also get 1ft of 22mm copper (or harder pipe if they have it), coz if you X cut the end for 2 inches you can splay the ends out and make a headset cup remover (edit – *check head diameter)

can you skin it with a sharp spade (drive it along with the handle very near the ground – easier if you kneel) or hoe

Our’s wasnt totally level but the indents were smooth with shallow gradients if you see what I mean.

If the clay bit is shieled/gets limited sunlight/usually wet I’d be tempted to put in some drainage holes (auger/gravel filled) before turfing as I’m currently carrying out my annual demoss exercise on my shielded/sun limited/usually wet clay based garden

rake levelish, remove 12mm+ stones (*try turning rake over and pulling towards), firm by stamping, lay turf with offset joins and really butt the edges up tight and once turf laid stay off and water it senseless for two weeks

probably a bit late now but you can extend spanners etc by sticking a bit of pipe over them to give extra length/leverage, you can (possibly if you keep the spanner fit true) also use your foot (leg muscles are stronger) to push the spanner round (don’t kick, apply steady pressure)

as cm said take into account housing etc costs, and you might want to see what ‘other’ jobs are like as well coz it’s an rs to be in a one pony town when the pony goes lame…

but mainly it’s a punt, as you said it takes a while to find out and things change anyway

    not unfair I’d suggest TJ

say you had a private sector (or money purchase scheme as they can reasonably be called now) with say Equitable Life say – you be ****ED now, whilst if you have a public sector pension then no matter how much money the scheme owners piss up the wall you’re covered and you get a guaranteed amount of money

nice of all political parties to studiously ignore the pensions problems (people living longer, financial seperation between public/private[we’re all in this together] pensions for at least the last 30 or so years,

if you can put a slight downhill(towards outside)on the pipe it means that in winter when you shut the inside stop off(*ie fit an inside isolator) you can fully drain the (outside bits of) pipe by opening outside tap (and then reshut) and I believe it’s a legal reqt that the actual tap has an anti backflow device

how I’ve ridden for about the last 30 years, yellow highlight all Bridle//Rupp/BOAT etc that way you can see loops/routes about the right distance for you, also helps when seeing if worth driving to an area, it also really helps you spot useful coughpaths for linking etc you’ll get everything from swamps to gems, and that can be on the same track at different times of the year, fabulous way to explore, now you can augmnent it with t’internet maps etc etc go for it

Roughly similar boat (my gf has (not my)kids, they will get her house etc, which is fine by me and I will make sure that if she outlasts me she is provided for) but I have no dependents etc, I’m slowly building a list of charities (of a smaller, localer type and who I don’t feel are a professional business with the possible exception of Barnados) to % the residue between.

done it with both my last cars, (but only as they were proper dealers and warranty etc etc), both successful.

make sure it’s sold as (*mind you via a ‘proper’ dealer this should be fine):
    – not been in an accident or damaged
    – not modified from standard

Do check it carefully when it arrives(all round boywork, bumpers etc, windscreen chips) before you sign, ie if it gets damaged in transit…
