Nails. Only really use mine on the push up, bomb down trails where a dh bike would be overkill. Prefer my hardtail for trail riding. If you boys are managing to not drop chains with 2 rings up front, you’re not riding it hard enough ;)

Thanks. I’ve put a few different formats up now so good to know somethings working. The Divx one is the best quality.

mp3 should be silent till the last minute to sync up with the backing track.
Damn on the video. works ok when i download it, but could be a codec thing.
Yes rack of outboard gear, most of which gathers dust, although did use my digitech jobbie for the recording.

Not wanting to turn this thread into a debate on the Session, but mine is surviving dent free after 7 months of DH’ing, with the usual uplifts, crashes, etc. My Sunday had worse battle scars after that time.

In which case, fancy renting it out for a week in July
Sessions sweet, but i wouldn’t recommend it, they’re common as muck.

WackoAK, virtually impossible without a compressor, IME
Wouldn’t use anything else on my hardtail. Awesome tyre in all conditions and virtually indestructible. Only ever had one puncture in over 2 years use, and that was on the rear at less than 20 psi.
    Normally run 28 psi

What man, which man, who’s the man,
    when’s a man a man,
what makes a man a man,
    am i a man?
    yes, technically i am

    So you’re worried about a “missing” 0.5in (12mm)?

Tell you what – go study the effects of seat angle on reach to the bars, compare the Ragley with anything.

I bet you’ll be telling me it’s too long next.

I’m not a bike designer so I’ll not argue with you, cause you’ll win.
    Here’s what i know
I bought an 18″ Hummer with a 23″ TT that i sold because it was too short with not enough stand over. I lost a lot of money
I bought an 18″ ti 456 with JUST enough standover and a 23.5 TT which feels good, but would have preferred a slacker head angle.

So i’m thinking, i would LOVE one of your new Ragley Ti’s and if you’re telling me the 16″ will not feel any shorter than my 18″ ti456 then i’ll be at the front of the queue.

Hardcore hardtail + gate = incompatible.

    Sorry

Looks like a hummer to me, same head angle (adjusted for forks)
looks like more than half an inch less standover than the ti456 too (which when your short legged/long bodied matters)
If a 16″ with a 23.5″ TT appears, i’ll be all over it like a rash though

get the ragley if you’re “edgy”

the slacker HA appeals to me, as WOULD a tapered 1.5 to 1.125 HT and ISCG mounts.

ISCG Mounts? Let me guess… HammerSchmidt?

Because then people over 5ft8 won’t be able to ride up hill?

    Really?

Brant, where in the evolutionary process (ti456-ragley ti) did you think “My edgy hardcore hardtail needs less standover”?
As it stands, apart from a few fancy design features which will not enhance the ride, it looks a lot like a Cove Hummer with a longer top tube.
Low slung top tubes are where it’s at with this type of bike. With 400+mm seat posts being the norm, the sizing seems stuck in the last decade.
Why not have the seat tube on the first 2 sizes the same at 16″ and have a short and a long model. The 18″ is a gate, unfortunately

how long since last service? Knock 50 psi off each side and try and get full travel just bouncing up and down on them. If not, try oil change, clean.
Your pressures don’t sound to way off to me, I’m about 85kg running 130/120 neg/pos
