Not sure if they are still there but last time I was up that way I went round them via stanley, murthly and dunkeld.

Madison do 700c/29er wheels for £250, you would still need the shifter etc. None in stock at present. 🙁

Currently run 32:20 on a 29er alfine, spins out on smooth road descents but gets me up anything. 😀

I run a 26/36/bashring set-up on one of the bikes and haven’t had any issues gearing wise, depends where and how you ride really.

I wouldn’t generally take anyone on the back, for purely selfish reasons in that it affects the bike so much.

Post a pic pls of your 2x as I’d be surprised at that for disc use unless straight pull.

Speaking as someone who does powder coating as a sideline, we always blast it ourselves to make sure before pcoating. Like any coating the key is in the preparation.

Commercial Vehicle Direct – now in my fourth year with them, each renewal has been less than the previous years premium, they carried car ncd over and I’ve got £2k of cover for bikes in the van.

I stand by that – ride with quite a few roadies at the weekend , most of who had no idea who he was until recently. Agree to disagree, but thanks for telling me that I’m ill informed to comment.

Surely that will have an effect on the rotor in the calliper, and it is on such as small arc that the actual amount of adjustment will be a lot less than an ebb?

IMHO Kimmage is a c*ck and LA answered that question very well. Without LA no-one would have heard of Kimmage, the word leech springs to mind. To refer to anyone as a cancer is sick. I also find it hard to believe that anyone who has been through chemo would then willingly pump themselves full of more chemicals. I am not a LA lover, I’m sure he is a hard minded arrogant man, but then what top athlete isn’t.

if it works for you then why not. Some people get so uptight about this, it’s a bike ffs! Anyway it saves buying a higher stem and flat bars.

Big, txting is crap, camera is ok for basic stuff, alarm can’t be used unless phone is actually on, but as I use it for work I find it very useful, email / web etc.

Personally I find humans more of a problem than dogs, which tend to take you as they find you. I also quite like the way they greet each other by sniffing eachs others back ends 😉

not really for a 29er, that’s what i run mine at for ss as opposed to 32/16 for 26 wheels.

I run one, as a sideline to my main non-cycling business. Not aimed at stw type people, most stuff is gear fettling, headsets, rear mechs, punctures, bottom brackets and the like. Individuals are not a great earner but have got into a few companies that get me to come to them and do staff days etc.

Thanks, where did you find that?

Nearest – all the ones in the D&Galloway area.
Travel – 20ish miles each way.
But would also want good eateries, pub nearby where I was staying as well as bike cleaning fettling facilities if I’m staying a few days.
