Next month can’t come soon enough. That is the bike I have been looking for 🙂

Overall it is good and better than the others but I personally am not enjoying reading nearly as much as I used to. This may well be me as opposed to the mag and as such I was considering cancelling my sub. I have say that marks post is the final straw as such, I don't see it as passionate as others have said. Hopefully in 2010 I'll be to busy riding my bike for any reading!

Wasn't throwing poo, asking the questions which seemed reasonable, obviously you think otherwise, fair enough.

The articles are good but are there less of them and or are they shorter, has a thinner mag appeared after the launch of premier content? I don't know and don't have the time or inclination to research the answers, just my perception, right or wrong.

March 2010 116 pages, march 2009 132 pages, haven't counted the adverts! No one said you didn't work hard, just that it appeared a bit light on content, again.

Haven't checked with my earlier copies but it does seem a bit on the light side.

Loads of ideas there, thanks. You never know, later in the season I might be fit enough for the stw c2c.

I like the look of that druidh. I'll have an os map session. Might pick your brains at a later date if that's ok.

At the moment I have to say sea eagles after having seen two of them soaring above the Tay estuary near Tentsmuir forest a few weeks ago. have seen then on Mull but after seeing them so close to home I'm smitten.

two sets of forks and 3 stems later I can't fault them, one fork been used weekly for 18+ months, quick delivery too. Look different (better!!) to the SSC ones, can't comment on the others.

I see where you're coming from. I guess they think they harder they make it appear to the more money people will give. Raising money is the main aim, getting people interested or onto bikes would be a secondary by product I would think.

njee20 – thjink you're being a bit negative there imho – to the vast majority of people this is a big feat, to some of my neighbours driving 30 miles a day is a big feat! Anyway it is for charidee 😆

My dirtworker has no hole in the lid and so doesn't leak, and you can actually close the door on the lead and still use it. Great piece of kit and no probs using in the wet.

Have met a few people off here (not had sex with any of them, their loss!!) but haven't ridden ( on a bike) with any of them. I sometimes worry that I won't be fast / fit enough to keep up.

no it has road callipers, it is basically a road bike with flat bars.

I love mine. Very reliable and apart from a quick cable tension adjust I haven't touched it. I run an 18 on the back and 26/36 upfront with an alfine tensioner and a 9spd chain.

As others have said, a lurcher can be left on their own, but I would never advocate a working day, in my book that is too long. With regards to them accompanying you on the bike you need to be careful of the mix of that lurcher. We have had 4 so far (all rescue) and some have been great over a distance others not as they are much more sprint based.

I am named on my wifes and parents cars but there are times when it would have been very handy to drive a friend or twos car albeit third party as I could under a comp car policy but it seems you can't get this with a van policy even if it is non business social use.

Still no joy!! They cover you for social use but will not offer third party cover on another vehicle that you drive with the owners permission like most comp policies do.

had the same problem with a pair of altura ones, the retailer wasn't interested so I sent then direct to altura and got a new pair, which have been fine.
