Lucien, very nicely, which is why I struggle to convince myself I should sell it!
I don’t need it, my hardtail GT with semi-slicks is a better commuter as it’s geared, but that has a harsher ride being alu.
This is much more comfortable because of the flex in the steel & just fun to ride!
It’s useless in places where a proper BMX cruiser would be fine because it’s quite long in the cockpit, so not really chuckable.
Sometimes I swap out the chainring for a smaller one & use it for off-road duties.

I have an old slot-drop Inbred that I use for a bit of ‘urban’ pootling.
Have nearly put it up for sale several times, but just can’t bring myself to do so as it’s just a fun little cruiser!

    Excuse the weedy driveway:

Biodegradable means that it breaks down in to naturally occurring substances that do no harm

Nope. Biodegradable means that it can be broken down by natural biological processes. The toxicity of the end result is moot.

Biodegradable & environmentally friendly would be a different kettle of fish.

If you really want to go to town over it though, you need to wash it, then go over the paintowork with a clay-bar to remove all the little pieces of sap etc, then polish, then wax (yes, car polish is different to wax).

Drive to carwash, select the program that includes wax, job done. 🙂

But if you feel the urge to do it properly, pop to Halfords and get some Meguiars wax & Autosol chrome polish.

    It’s a great telly. I have the older LE40B650, and it’s a cracking set!

RicherSounds are seling it at £549 inc. 5 year guarantee. Bargain!

The only thing I will say against them is that they have a glossy screen, which can be pig-awful for picking up reflections.

All the vets love PetPlan, the coverage is good, but you pay heftily for that. We use GreenBee for our dog, aka John Lewis. Very similar level of cover for a much lower premium. It’s underwritten by AXA, who are usually very good.

In any case, as with car insurance, premiums seem to differ massively depending on your area too. Don’t really understand that with pets, cars yes, pets, not so much. 😕

the toxocara canis parasite can survive 3 months in the environment

Unfortunately not, the eggs can remain infective for several years outside of the host.
    Scrub those hands kiddies!

As a dog owner, I probably cover more of the popular dog walking routes than most sans-dog, yet thankfully I have never come across a bagged dog-egg hanging in a tree.

They have also teamed up with Tesco’s now, so you can get extra club card points:

Must be model specific then as my 02 Ghia Focus has a 60/40 split on both the bench and seats. Damn handy. 🙂

    GTDave

Yes. They are 60/40 split seats. The rear bench flips out, allowing the seat backs to fold down flat.

You can also strip them down to get at the root cyclones & clean them yourself.
Ours was rather asthmatic at sucking stuff off the floor, but since I replaced the filters and cleared out the root cyclones (which were blocked), it’s like having a new dyson again. 😀

I have a few, but the aforementioned Bryan Peterson book is good.
My personal favourite is “Nikon D5000: From Snapshots to Great Shots” by Jeff Revell.

Everyone will recommend you the dog they have, the majority will probably recommend a border terrier.

We have an Aussie Labradoodle, and he’s the best dog ever. Highly intelligent, with the loyalty of a Lab, independent character of a poodle, bundles of energy, never has the doggy smell, doesn’t shed, and is completely fooking nuts!

GTDave–couldn’t agree more—they are really great dogs. We have an American F1 who is 5 years old (almost identical in color to yours, but with more of a wavy coat being 1st gen) and an Aussie F2 who is 8 months old (jet black, wooly coated-looks like a black lamb).

Harvey has a spiral fleece coat. At the moment he has very tight poodly curls since being groomed, but if we let it grow, he turns into a very fluffy bugger! Very ‘bouncy’ dogs arent they! 😆

Oh, and his 2 Cocker friends we look after:

GTdave—what breed is Harvey? Looks like a twin to one of my two Labradoodles.

He’s an Aussie Labradoodle, such a great little fella!

They are linked to each property.
You wonder what it does, so twiddle with the dial to no obvious effect.
Next door note that their mystery unit has been making unusual noises, and so twiddle with their dial.
Their neighbours note that…….. and so on, and so on, until yours begins to fluctuate, at which point you twiddle the dial again…… ad nauseum.

Get them now and then, flying along the course of the Thames.

Anyone want to guess why they do that?

IIRC it’s something to do with the fact that the city airspace is heavily occupied, so following the Thames allows them to fly lower, and avoid all the other shite buzzing above?
They also follow the M25 round my way, passing over the QEII bridge. Easy navigation innit!
Often hear the Chinooks passing by the Tower.

    They ride really well.
    I have a 2009 Fuel EX8, size 18.5 (17’5) and I am 5’11.
    Fits me perfectly.
