Yep, I really like them, they have a nice sound to them. I have a set of the A-Jay Four’s, and I much prefer them to the Sennheisers they replaced.

Longest was for abt 20 hours. I woke in the middle of the night (having forgotten to take them out before turning in) and thought it was a bloody miracle that I could see perfectly after all these years!
I then woke the missus and told her my eyes are good, & I can see properly! Subtly as ever, she told me to take my fookin’ lenses out & go back to sleep. 😳 😆

Nah, it’s a very simple job that doesn’t require a call to the Delhi call centre, thankfully!
All you need to do is unplug the cable modem from the mains (so it ‘forgets’ your old router) connect the new router to the cable modem, power on the router, then the modem.
The cable modem then recognises the new router without any further work.
Down to you to setup the router after that. IIRC, the settings you need to change on the router are detailed on Virgins site. HTH.

The Tower Thistle hotel, absolute eyesore & spoils the surrounding area.
It’s just as grim inside too.

The Shard. Impressive engineering no doubt, butwhen seen in the flesh it looks damn ugly, dirty and dated with all that glass.

The new Royal London Hospital. Can you see it?

😆 Well, despite being 37, nearing 14st, and being fairly tall, my build I guess is radically different. So don’t but Next jeans, or Levi’s!

Walking down the stairwell at work, pass by a lass on her mobile in a ‘quiet’ spot, with a not-so quiet voice:

    “…an I ‘ave a voucha…yeah…all me pyoobs off please…”

Run some BG244 through the tank, supposedly much better than the Forte & Redex treatments at delivering noticable results.

Pricing also varies wildly depending on your location too. 😕

Petplan. Expensive compared to others, but very good.
However, we have our dog-thing insured with GreenBee. They are part of John Lewis, & it’s underwritten by AXA. Thankfully, we haven’t had the need to use it yet, but coverage is as good as PetPlan, only cheaper. 😀

Funnily enough our Harvey is also known as Mr Biscuit, as the kids think his paws smell of digestives, and they do! 😆

Definitely not Merrells. They are the only brand of shoes I have ever come across that stink of horse-shit straight out of the box!

Cool, otherwise I could have emailed you the TSB and fitting instructions (which make it look a royal PITA).

Hire a Rug Doctor machine from B&Q.
We did, brought our 7 yr old cream carpets pretty much back to new, and lifted all marks / smells our puppy had made.
Cost £30 for a couple of days, and cleaned them much better than the ‘professional’ we had in a few years ago.

If you do keep with a BB, stick to the ‘Bold’ line, the newer ‘Torch’ is pants.

iPhone 4 is pretty good tbh. We have moved from BB Bold 9000’s to iPhone’s running an app called ‘Good Messenger’ for exchange email, and it covers our needs.
Blackberry’s seem to be stagnating these days, as the current models offered nothing better than what we had acouple of years ago, I reckon they will be in the same boat as Nokia in a few years.
The only thing I preferred with the BB’s physical ketboard was that they were better to send messages with over an iPhone when completely trollied. 😀

Normally, it gives an error code by flashing the ABS light at startup, then stays on.
If you aren’t getting any flash codes, then it could be the main module at fault or a loose / corroded / split wire somewhere. Did KwikFit try seeing what happened by resetting the light / clearing the fault?

Check the connector under the seat, they can come loose.
Does the airbag light flash a set number of times, or is it just permanently on?

Treated as a new customer. We were about to do the same, but got bounced to retentions who offered a superb package including the new Tivo box etc etc, for less than we currently pay! Win win!

If you can’t find the studs, cut a section of the plasterboard out where the bracket is planned to go, and put in new studs / noggins at the req. place. Then put the cut board back, tidy it up, and mount the bracket.

Bike carrying tip, pop down local furniture / bedding shop & ask for some old matress bags (the plastic sheets matresses come wrapped in).
They will swallow a wet & muddy bike, stopping it from marking inside of yer car!

S-max can have rails fitted to the back of the 2nd row seats, so that when folded flat you can remove the bikes front wheel & clamp directly to the rail.

Despite feeling like a huge car, the current Passat has less boot space than our old Focus estate, so would be much less than a Mondie.
We moved up to an S-Max too. It uses the Galaxy floor pan, but has 3″ less head height at the rear.

But for your budget, I would be looking at the Alhambra as you get a bit better for your money than the other two. Sharan’s the least.
Then again, there’s tons of Galaxy’s about though, 7K can see you in an 05 plate 1.9l diesel, Ghia, with around 65k on the clock.

Make sure the aircon works, and check the aux heater if fitted, these are known to be very problematic.
