Shop near me here has some “Vibram Five-Fingers”, very odd.

Can you get them in individual bags or just in the Kiddie Mix?

Yep, individual bags, or a tub of 600 babies!! Wahey!!

Wine Gums are my weakness, I used to buy a pack for every ride.
They’d be demolished long before I got on the bike.
So now I have to buy 2 packs! 😆

The Haribo ones are much nicer than the Bassets ones, imo. 😀

Maxxis Ardents in a 2.25 flavour. Waaay better than XC Pro’s, & roll extremely well.

Mine did something similar to this. Was the lockring working loose on the Hope ProII hub, causing the last few XT sprockets to move.

Polish polishers polish polish apples with polish polishers polish.

And I agree with CaptJon, i’ve seen plenty of people sneeze over the produce.

Chipping a 115 could get you a 20-22 bhp increase, but more importantly, an extra 30 Lb/Ft of torque. Check out Superchips.

He’s a good silversmith, that’s his forté but I’m sure he works in other metals too. I know he’s done stuff with titanium too.
Not the fastest man alive, but good at what he does and fairly priced too.

He’s in Camden by the lock behind Dingwals…

    Astoria ’91 & Reading ’92.

Reading was superb that year <goes misty eyed>.

It was so muddy! Public Enemy were great there too.

Could whack some Platy’s and Guppies in there, both are smaller than Mollies.

We started with one small tank, then another, then a 125L one.
Some of the fish get cycled between tanks. Fry go in the small one, when bigger they go in the middle tank, then off to the fish-shop etc etc, there’s always a cycle of them on the go!!

Big tank houses the breeding Mollies (2 male, 4 female, all different colours), 7 Platy’s (3m, 4f), 2 Penguin Tetra’s, 4 Cherry Barbs, 2 Glass Catfish and an albino Bristlenose Plec.

Mid tank currently housing 6 dalmation mollies, small tank housing 20 orange / black spotted fry.

Not Brick Lane, but very near to it….Herb & Spice – 11 Whites Row.

Most excellent curry to be had there.

Other than that, i’ll echo RudeBoy. Tayyabs or Sweet & Spicy (where the locals eat).

We have a 6 & 4yr old. They have swimming lessons on Sunday morning which wifey takes them too. That = bike ride time for me.
Sunday afternoons we get the kids out on their bikes too.
If i’m lucky with work, maybe the odd evening spin if I feel like it.

He was doing a book signing in Waterstones, Leadenhall market earlier in the week.
Most book signings, even for obscure authors, get a reasonable queue of people in attendance. However, there was no such queue for Mr Bannatyne.

He was promoting his book “How to be Smart with Your Money”.
I guess people were, buy not buying it! 😆

Miele or Dyson if you have predominantly carpeted floors.

    <checks Which review>
Their ‘Best Buy’s’ are predominantly Bosch, Miele & Dyson cylinder vacs. Henry is waaaay down their list, scoring 40%.

My 5.1D’s on Pro II’s have 18 months trail time on them.
They were machine not handbuilt ones, and have taken quite a few knocks & scrapes.

Still spot on & perfectly true. Pulled the hubs apart last week for a clean, didn’t need to, they were good as new inside.

Great tyres imo. I have the 2.25’s on the GT, front & rear, and took them out for their first spin yesterday.
Trails were a mix of hardpack / loose & dry / claggy / leaf litter.
Tyres were bang on & never missed a beat. Not at all sketchy on the shoulders. Far far better than the Fire XC Pro’s I ran last year.
    GTDave approved! 😉

    SLX are good stoppers.

They should be fine with non-shimano discs, I run my XT’s with Hayes discs and no problems there.

As stated, the Concepr2 rowers are the really good ones.
However, for home use, the air resistance models such as the Beny V-Fit are fine (and go for a reasonable price on Ebay).

I had 2 removed Wednesday evening. One on my back was shaved down, scraped out & cauterized. Another on my belly cut out & had 5 stitches.

Not a single sting or grumble from the back one, carrying the rucksack to work was fine the following morning.

Belly one was a different beast. Constant pulling / pinching ache that made me want to walk stooped the following day, eased up alot today though, but bruising coming out by the looks of it.

Back next Fri for stitches out. Worst thing was being told no physical exercise / riding for 2 weeks! Hey-ho.
