    My sealskins have been good.

Should be fine, unlikely to have done any damage to the seals.

No valve in pikes to let -ve air out. My friend let air out of his whilst sat on the bike causing the -ve pressure to be higher than the +ve. This caused suck down. We just put the maximum pressure into the forks and could then pull them high enough for the equalisation dimple to let the air past, could hear the hiss as the pressure equalised.

Hood is removable so I just took it off.

I have one in orange, used just on the bike. I like it, keeps the rain out and comfortable. I also find it quite warm so generally don’t wear heavy layers under it. After getting manky riding through winter it never cleaned up as if new always looking a bit gruby. Also ripped when I fell off the bike but suspect any jacket would have done so in that fall.

What disc? I had Shimano discs that had play between the spider and actual disc at the rivet point.

I used a small socket to drive the metal bushing out then a drift to knock the plastic sections out.

Cable stop is built into the direct mount front mech.

Are the chainstay/seatstay pivots assembled dry? It’s just a metal and poly bush so I don’t think anything is required. Mine developed play there, replacement parts are fitted and problem gone for just now.

So I returned the shock under warranty. They never said if they found a fault or not but it has been replaced with the 2014 version of the shock. Thanks CRC/Rockshox.

    Thanks Alex,

Going to send it back for examination. I hope it not just in my head.

Thanks, Traildog bike is only 3months old so planning on making a warranty claim. Just wasn’t 100% if it was an issue or not. The lever seems to have no effect but wanted to check before I contacted the retailer as I was sure the difference was noticeable before.

Choose your bike carefully, they are not as fuel efficient as you might think, especially the bigger engines. Some are better than others.

Got back in to running and was having issues with knee/ankle and hip pain. Got a set of vivobarefoot neo’s and am now mid foot striking and having no issues with the pain I was having so have found the change to be great.

I have found mine to be really good, they are quite bulky but they have never bothered me and I can pedal in them all day with no issues.

Have to say I found it pretty good on the ups considering how good it is back down.

Another brown one here. Now sitting in bits due to new bike. Hope I don’t regret it!

I wouldn’t worry about that. Just affecting the surface.

I ran joes as my first tubeless set up. Worked really well. No issues at all. Just make sure you get the kit with the correct width rimstrips.

Yep from reading around the old system was 2 step and had issues. The newer dual position is pretty good from what I have read.

Kimbers how are you finding the Process? What’s it like on the ups? Also any ideas of the frame weight? Really nice looking bike!

Wear mine with leg warmers if it’s that wet. Nice dry feet is the result!

Just got one of these from lightmalls and my m8 got one from eBay. His has glow in the dark rings in the front lens and mine doesn’t. Is one of them not genuine?

I am David’s cousin. My mum is his dads sister. Awesome effort on the Munros BTW been doing the odd one with my wife, don’t think I have the stomach to do the likes of the stuff on Skye though!

You need to change the base plate, apparently it’s quite simple
    Base Plate
Don’t think there is one for 150 though. I saw a thread whee someone had made there own to go to 150.

Exposure flare small, bright and I like that hype flash mode has the light on all the time with a brighter pulse of light.

Considering the X2 is ten times cheaper than the spider eyes it’s not bad at all.

Its great fun on the bike up there though normally only take the bike to the bottom of the steps up the Cobbler itself. You do have to stop for a few of the stream crossings and make sure you are committed on the water bars but its fast and definitely worth doing.

I wasn’t disputing that a set of lyriks or likewise would feel more solid but the Revelations are a good match to the bike. Like I said the revelations didn’t leave me wanting but I’m sure a full on DH rig would be better.

As for the mini statement well poor analogy the revs prop the front of the bike up quite nicely. I’m not so sure the mini shocks would do the same in a landy 😉
