Ok, it appears a lot of people are coming out of the woodwork to defend the E150 forks, which is to be expected with the Enduro in the topic of conversation.
But please note, i am not slagging these forks, or saying 'what you have are crap' etc etc, I just personally do not wish to have them on my build 🙂
So… if the pitch is a slacker geometry, is this going to result in less fun downhill on the Enduro? I do have DH Bars and Stem, this help?
The reason for this, going down is what i ride for it's where i get my adrenaline, the uphill bits are there purely for me to come down again, they're not fun for me 🙂 So id rather the bike be 70% downhill and 30% up then the opposite way round.
I'll also be running an RP23 on the rear? Any problems doing this?
Thansk for all the input so far
GSuperstarFree MemberI had noticed that a few went up recently, always in the exact point when you can't quite afford them 🙂
GSuperstarFree Membernjee20 – Is it me that has made that suggestion? If so i haven't meant to word it that way, i udnerstand completely the Enduro is the higher range model which is why i'd like it as an upgrade 🙂
I completely understand that the component change is by far safer, but i thoroughly enjoyed building my last bike up in which the frame and forks are now the only stock item. However the components i have suits my riding perfectly, and the bike could be rode as it is. I'd just quite like the upgraded model with a weight saving?
Captain- Completely i've actually read about how light they are in comparisent to what people have presumed, but i'm just not a fan of their look, for some reason dual crown forks on an all mountain bike just don't seem right. (Vain i am aware, but we do spend a lot of money on these things so i think it's justified 🙂 )
Just before it's mentioned as well… yes i am also in the process of losing weight myself so you can leave that comment out 😉
GSuperstarFree MemberWell it's more the weight issue i want to address.
I dont feel the need for a dual crown fork, which is why id want to swap over to a single if moving all parts over to a carbon enduro.
The leverage rate is an interesting point, i'll try and look into that a bit further.
Overall it was whether there's a down side to swapping over to a carbon enduro frame. As everything else seems similar/or a positive
Thanks for your help mate.
GSuperstarFree MemberHaha, sorry MrNutt i didnt mean to ignore your first sales post 🙂
Unfortunately im a very vain person and a cherry wood subwoofer wouldn't fit in with the current glass / black / silver combo 🙂
Best of luck with the sale of it though, they get very good reviews online i've noticed 🙂
GSuperstarFree MemberAmazing film. I watched it on a train journey. Bought it the night i had internet.
Course you cant ####### see i just shot a ###### blank in your eye!
GSuperstarFree MemberI've just got back and had a look through the manual and it says if running speaker channels A & B, that Speakers A will be reduced to 2.1 channel playback.
On the subwoofer section it now stands out with a large bold 'to attach your powered subwoofer'…
Thanks for all the help people. Richer Sounds tomorrow it seems 🙂
Have a good night.
TomO
GSuperstarFree MemberBad times 🙁 The 5.1 Surround is more important to me than Stereo with bass.
Looks like a new subwoofer is on the cards.
Thanks for all the help has been much appreciated.
TomO
GSuperstarFree MemberSorry forgot to mention the subwoofer wires go 'into' the actual subwoofer. So i'm unable to unplug them etc and don't wish to take the sub apart as it's a sealed unit.
The AV Receiver does have an 'A' and 'B' set of speakers, howeevr i believe using 'A & B' speaker setting loses the 5.1 sounds and automatically puts it to 'stereo' which is bad.
Thanks for the response.
GSuperstarFree MemberMrOvershoot:
That is by far the best response to any first post of any thread ever…
GSuperstarFree MemberYup, renamed and re-labelled. Had a week up there last month and the trails are perfectly rideable, very 'track road' orientated however. A lot of riding up stoney roads to get to different parts of trails as oppose to being on a trail none stop.
Still, worth a ride.
GSuperstarFree MemberSame, the Tube Underground scene was one of the best uses of computer technology i've ever scene, as for the plot…
GSuperstarFree MemberYou'll find every make/colour/material/wheel size of a bike will provoke lovers and haters. It's all part of the joy of this forum 🙂
GSuperstarFree Memberusually 300fps (feet per second – this is the legal limit). Some sites however run at 280fps just so it's slightly friendlier.

GSuperstarFree MemberFivespot – Once again thanks mate for all the info it's more than appreciated. With the stroke, i know 7mm is nothing at all, so why would it be available in 2 options?
I'm actually pretty interested in your offer. If you're not in a major rush i'll try and have an answer for you by the end of this weekend? (Just so i can work out that the Pitch is definitely that size, and whats best for me and my wallet) 🙂
TomO
GSuperstarFree MemberAnd i was proved correct with instant good responses so thank you 🙂
I have a Pitch Pro, my RP2 has recently just given up and with it costing £90 to have it fixed i am in the dilemma of whether or not it's worth it?
A brand new one on sale is only 150, which may be double, but obviously is brand new. My second option is to swap out for a coil shock which for some reason have always majorly appealed to me.
So in theory, if i was to measure the eye 2 eye of my current RP2, on my Pitch right now, this would be the desired length i require?
In regards to the 'compression of say 23mm', does this change depending on the eye 2 eye mm, or is it possible to have the following from my previous example:
140mm – 28mm Stroke
140mm – 56mm Stroke (Made up for the sake of the question)
If the answer is yes it can be different, what issues arise?
Thanks again everyone this is much appreciated.

GSuperstarFree MemberI do the 'Yeah no', but when i think about it, it's always as an agreement to something, i think i'm just trying to say:
'Yeah I Know'
But shortening it. So in this circumstance whatever the Interviewer had asked, his response was, 'Yeah I know, definitely'.
Seems to make sense.
GSuperstarFree MemberI've had the top range HTC's for the last 3 years? Paying to upgrade everytime a new one was released.
So my opinions is:
If you want a fun phone, which is simple and has games and things to impress your mates. Then get the Iphone (Which i may be changing over to as it comes to it)
or
If you want a top spec phone, that's more business orientated than fun, get the HTC.
GSuperstarFree MemberMate if you go on Mazuma instead:
Yours is at 115, and i have used these before, very fast and very worth while 🙂
TomO
GSuperstarFree MemberIndeed, i had the exact first thought, and what comes across as an 'annoyance' to begin with, the click fastly becomes the greatest asset to your bike 🙂
People moveeee out your way 10meters ahead, fantastic 🙂
GSuperstarFree Membermrmichaelwright – Thank you
rolfharris – i was looking around 150 to 160mm so you seem to have out my mind at rest slightly. In regards to the cracks and breaks, i like to ride fast, but generally pretty close to the ground so nothing break worthy hopefully 🙂
Thanks to you both
GSuperstarFree Member**For those who are upset by this tragic news, simply do a shit on the simple guitar chords illustrated below and you will have an Oasis album…**
Now… i'll be honest, i love Oasis. At the end of the day, if the music makes you happy, it makes you happy, if it doesn't, (refrains from saying 'youre wrong' 😛 ) then it doesn't.
But in regards to the lack of effort with their tabs/chords etc I can't see how this is a bad thing?
I've heard people say this before, but the way i think of it is, they're making things less complicated / less effort, but still coming up with massive sales?
So, if i was running a marathon, at 2mph and can win it, or run with more effort at 20mph and win it… i would definitely choose the 2mph 🙂
GSuperstarFree MemberI would say 100% definitely affects your skill level. It's the same with most sports that aren't so 'mainstream'.
I play competitive paintball, and unfortunately America has a ton more opportunities for kids than the UK does in terms of tarining facilities etc, and when you compare the skill levels due to this, America is far ahead.
GSuperstarFree MemberA group of us paintballers (Same Team), decided to get a house together which was previously occupied by a gay couple, and our captain shotgunned the largest bedroom, and upon cleaning found under the matress a 'how to practice gay safe sex' leafet with lube included. It was the next day clearing out his wardrobe that the necklace with a metal emblem saying 'suck me' was found 🙂
The photos we took are now firmly tagged to said captain on facebook so it's not only us enjoying the humour 🙂

GSuperstarFree MemberThank you very much for the fast replies, and for the in depth explanations of them, have literally cleared up everything i needed to know 🙂
I feel simply sticking to one set may be the ultimate idea here for me, if i have SLX rear and front derailleurs, with SLX shifters nothing can really go wrong.
Buzz- Hopefully my philosophy will benefit me more than hinder 🙂
Thanks again
