Cobble wobble was a major success. The buzz was amazing going up the hill and the support was great.I live in the town and all people have been talking about is how good the cobble wobble was.Hopefully this will happen every year with even more events.Well done to Andy and all at the blackcanoncollective for the excellent running of the cobble wobble.

Bloody brilliant night.I had a go up the cobble wobble myself on my GT zaskar and i was pretty happy with 30.6 seconds untill i heard the winner did it in 23.67 seconds (on a racer).Had a pint of the "cobble wobble beer"Nice stuff.Excellent display from the Animal stunt team.Proper job.

Although the voucher says that you cannot add any extra money on top of the voucher value you can.Halfords will never turn away a sale of £1000+ or most shops for that matter. Then you still get a bargain bike.Everyones a winner.

Are you running tubeless or not?

Hi shortbread_fanylion i think what cynic-al meant was you there are cheaper ways to save weight on NON rotating weight.

Has anyone used the “Lightweight”Hope 3 bolt rotors yet.Are they strong enough??

Hi Anthony, you say the 3 bolt 160mm rotor weighs 96g.Is this the standard 3 bolt rotor or is it the lightweight version?
Does anyone actually know the weight difference between the two??

Going by peoples advice i think that i will be more inclined to go for the Stans 355 rims instead of the DT 4.2s.

Am i right in saying that people think that the Stans 355 rims are better and stronger than the 4.2s.I to am looking at purchasing the Hope Hoops but have not decided on the rims yet.I was going to go for the 4.2s as i didnt like the idea of the Stans 355 not being eyeleted and i thought that may make them weak and i am also not sure if i want to go tubeless.

I thought i would add that the hubs are dt swiss “ceruti” hubs and are centre lock and not 6 bolt.

Thankyou Househusband for the info. That makes me happy as i felt the difference between a set of Mavic crossrides and the Hope/DT swiss wheels and there was quite a differenc and i beleive the crossrides to weigh about 1925g for a set.

I thought that the new hope sp-xc3 wheels with DT 4.2 rims are pretty light or am i wrong? Is 1709grams including rotors not light. If not what would you reccomend.
