Phil56 these are the nine speed ones
And the one that is broken is the front mech one
Single speed not sure about as I mainly use my bike just for commuting
I have some long flats and downhills and some very steep hills to get up

needs to be xtr to match my set up

The ratchet system has sheared off and is in two pieces

I can pull the cable and the front mech moves
If I try and shift there is no difference on tension of the cable
Will try and investigate a bit more tonight after work

The mechanism seems to be free
I can tap the levers up and down and the one thumb shifter but nothing works

Weirdly this happened to my brothers car
I think he used nail polish remover
Came off quite well but took aaaaaaages.
And it was pink paint and they did it twice but left it about 10 weeks inbetween.
No idea who done it either.

I have just bought an Endura velo jacket from Chain Reaction for £85 delivered.
I bought it to replace my Endura Venturi which is about 8 years old.
The velo is essentially the same as the Venturi and is a cracking jacket with no boil in the bag.

This has an RRP of £160 and is a brilliant jacket.
I really rate these jackets.

I have a Ford Focus 1.6 petrol and have just had my cam belt kit,water pump and auxillary belts and coolant change all done for £300 which a pretty good price and I can sleep at night now.

I did a BMX cruiser a few years back and it wasn’t too bad but I know not all paint is that easy to remove.

I used to race at Bristol BMX until I broke my arm in 3 places!
I really loved racing with the older guys (over 30 class) as it was super fun and very competitive at the same time.
It is a great club with very friendly people and some great BMX racers including a world number one!
But all levels are catered for and I personally love seeing some new comers getting better each week!
Bmx is a great sport for all ages and abilities and is super addictive!
