Chromag do a thick and wide grip – squarewave XL. Easton lock on come in thick too. Sip XLs also excellent.

Not sure about the HD3 – not sure anywhere has an XL at the bargain bucket price either.

No Capra’s available in Xl at the momenta nd i don’t see any info about when their ‘new’ bikes are coming out.

Thee usually a few at the back taking it easy and having a good time if you do sign up even for the more extreme tracks/events. Always been really friendly in my experience.

I think if there were a carbon enduro 29 or Mega 290 actually in stock in XL anywhere at least one of us would already be sorted!

Ive used both the Continental der Baron Projekt 2.3 and Maxxis Shorty 2.5 on 29ers. Both really good, Conti better on roots, Shorty better in all out slop I’d say.

What size do you wear?

A big rough tough 29er with a sturdy alu frame and no nonsense build will be heavy by comparison to some other bikes but some of those other bikes won’t have the same steamroller downhill approach either. There’s lots of choice right now depending on what you are after!

Ive been looking at the Dt Swiss EX/XM1501 wheel sets and some places are listing both 2016 and 2017 versions but I’m not seeing a lot of differences in the different year models? Can anyone help me out!? Is it just graphics/decals/stickers?

And a nice set for sale in the classifieds….

Can anyone confirm the quoted standover heights? On the Whyte site it is listed as being the same for every size which would be very unusual I think! Especially as it is quite ‘tall’! I’m specifically interested in the XL ‘real life’ figures!

I ordered a saddle from actionsports.de – no comms at all since I bought it 4 days ago and wondering of they are really slow? Was thinking of getting the bar too but might buy elsewhere.

Seems like most are trying the 12* dmrdave so maybe you can be the pioneer with 16* instead of me….
