Thanks guys, got a solution to the bolt through. A company in America (ship to Uk) make Thru Axles with a built on trailer hitch for the trailer we use. About £40 but at lest it won’t limit me to QR rears.

Unlucky mate. Had my garage broken into last week and they stole my beloved Santa Cruz Bronson, my Zesty and my mates Nukeproof Mega. Did you have insurance? If so how you getting on claiming. Protect my Bubble are dragging their heals…

Not tried those but the Endura MT500 Spray are great. Think they are on offer through CRC at the moment..

Avoid protect your bubble. I had my Santa Cruz Bronson stolen last week and it is clear they are teeing up to get out of paying, despite it being locked in a secure garage by a Kryptonite gold standard lock to a concreted floor anchor. They cut the floor anchor out with an angle grinder… Not much more I could have done to secure it. They get loads of bad reviews…

Thanks guys. Just bought a house in Farnahm so Scotton is on the doorstep as is the gorge. Will check them out.

Into a good mix of riding, some xc, towing the toddler in his trailer, some messing around in the woods like a kid however my favorite is more aggressive trail riding. Stainburn is my go to local for that sort of stuff at the moment.

Are there any decent clubs in the area – all I can find is road bike clubs?

    Thanks

Good heads up TheDT.. The site they gave me is the insurance site (bikereplacement.co.uk). If I go option A – I would be the Specialised Stump Jumper Comp Carbon….

Sound advise tuskaloosa. Built the Bronson up myself but the payout would only allow for an off the shelf Bronson or Nomad – not complaining though.

They initially offered a Fuel EX 8 but told them I need it to tow (think it confused them) and so they said jump on wheelies and I can choose anything up to £1800…. Never mentioned the new zesty..

I may be wrong but I am pretty sure a Pike 150 and 160 are the same body / internals. The 150 just has a spacer that can be removed to increase it to 160…
