I know nothing about photography but I think it can look great – like in JXLs images above.

Question – is there an equivalent for cinema/ TV? Can you shoot the same image 3 times somehow on a movie camera and obtain the same effect?

not read all the posts but

42:16 seems high for off road SS (is the Dunich Dynamo offroad)? Try 32:16

On the climbs do you sit and grind or stand and grind? I think sitting and pushing a high gear could be bad for your knees – but getting out of the saddle is less likely to cause problems

The whole WMD/ Iraq thing prooves that the moon landings took place

If the US was this conspiracy machine people like to think it is they would have planted WMDs and “got away with it” – they didn’t, no weapons were found and we all realised they were full of it.

why didn’t they fake it – becuase there was no way they would have got away with it – just like they would have never got away with faking the moon landings

all conspiracy theories are clearly nonsense when you think about the planning and manpower which would have been required to pull them off – an army of “evil project managers”. People talk – someone would have done so by now

Conspiracy theories provide a fun argument in the pub but some of you people really need to grow up

I’m not sure you can do it via iTunes itself

before you start stripping your calipers have you tried simply re-aligning them?

just loosen the two caliper bolts so the caliper can be waggled about a bit, then with the wheel on the bike squeeze the brake leever. Then whilst continuing to squeeeze tighten up the bolts.

this should centre the pads over the rotor. try again if it doesn’t work first time

if it still doesn;t work try some of the more involved solutions above

i’m doing the 12hr solo – same as last year

It really was great last year – excellent course made going out for another lap no problem, loads of fun singletrack

the weather helped for sure – although I understand the course should hold up quite well in the wet

the atmosphere seemed laid back to me, so hopefully will be the same this year (a few more riders this year, but a slightly longer course to compensate)

i was in Vegas recently with my family and got a room in a not yet sold out timeshare resort called “Tahiti Village”

yes it was a bit naff, but where isn’t in Vegas?

    but

it was cheap, the room was huge with a kitchen/ 2 x plasma tvs / steam room etc, all quite newly built – v nice bathroom, lounge area etc

    2 pools

not on the strip, but near it with a free shuttle bus

i booked it on Expedia – might be worth a look

I have a Cato 105 and I am very happy with it. It’s used for a commute, but on a route which you might actually choose to ride for pleasure and doing it on a “race” bike just increases the fun for me

on my Touch it seems to spring into life when I am typing badly and missing keys – but as it auto corrects, and you may not be aware that you hit the wrong key, it is possible that its working and you haven’t noticed

or you are better at iPhone typing than me

When we were looking for a wedding photographer we met one who kept boasting how he was a “reportige” photographer. He had his own shop and everything. I didn’t have the heart to tell him.

    please don’t

you’ll spoil the customers nice quiet meals

djs should only be tolerated on the radio and in nightclubs 😀

oh and at weddings, and roller discos

but never in a “bar” – never ever ever

the uk already has gated commnunities – my sister lived in a gated up block of flates in leeds a few years ago and drove to the corner shop because she perceived the area to be too dangerous to walk through.

I don’t know the area so can;t comment if her perception was correct or not – but the flats had been designed to keep anyone but residents and their guests out

i love john carpenters music for the original haloween

    basic synth but well scary

also a bit diluted by over use but where would “Jaws” be without the music

Love the music for eternal sunshine of the spotless mind – the beck cover of “i need your loving … “(may not be actual title)makes be blub like a big girl

just a shame that quite a “big” ride is required from my side of brighton to get to it

i have a 13″ macbook – the new alu one, which is now branded as a pro

its really really great -a pleasure to use compared to the misery that was my 2 previous pcs

money well spent – the ilife software is excellent for photos, video, dvd editing – and garage band is very good fun if you like messing about with music like me

and if you are looking for something cheaper there are good deals on reconditioned macs from the online mac store – the “old” white macbooks go for about 550 pounds on there. might get one for the wife so I don’t have to wait in line to get on “my” mac

i don’t know what it is about those “free” DVDs, they just seem to end up in a pile never to be watched – doesn’t matter how good the film is

whearas if I pay real money to buy or rent a dvd it will always get watched in the end

I already own and love W+I though. Still remember when I first saw it on channel 4 about 17 years ago. I just chanced upon it and had never heard of it before then so had none of the “cult” hype and preconceptions it comes with now. Amazing film, funny and sad all at the same time

I agree that this is a bad idea

but the remake of “The Thing” is much better than the original B&W film

    and “The Fly”
