Hi, i’ve used them a couple of times. When i first started riding i did the elementary xc course and this year the XC highschool course.
I cannot recommend them highly enough especially if you get Andy Barlow as an instructor, top bloke.

I want to play, behold the behemoth that is my precious.
I picked it for free with another from a high school that was being knocked down.

And just to keep in my Record 84 hidden on the bench, liberated from the local dockyard.

You can fit an Alfine to a FS bike you just have to get a chain tensioner that will suit it.

Mine, Van Nic made 456Ti with Alfine 11 hub. Not had it built for long but excellent so far. Now has black saddle and Reverb.

OMG, that pageant scene is so funny, i’m glad i didn’t watch it at work. Just shared it with Trailscotland as well so listen for chuckles from the north.

At GT just do what everyone else with large motorhomes do, park up a Buzzards nest carpark and stay overnight, no one will bother you.

I had an ioid for a couple of years, fantastic bike, solid and reliable, i gave it to my brother at the start of the year and so it’s now used for getting to his work.

For long term weedcontrol look for a product look for something containing Sulfosulfuron as it lasts 6 months.

As for horsetail you have to break down the waxy coating on it, i usually walk on it on strim it then spray with Round-up (Glyphosate) and this does the trick.
For areas in beds or grass you put a glove on then a sock over the top and then soak it in a glyphosate mix and then use your hand to apply it, this stops you hitting non target species.

As others have said salt is an excellent long term killer as well, it was used during roman times to kill off the fields of your enemy to deny them food.

+1 for the coastal path especially the part from Shell Bay to Earlsferry. Pitmedden Forest at Muchty has loads of trails, well worth visiting, just Youtube it.

Separate the uppers and lowers so it’s shorter.

For some strange reason, this year I do not seem to have as much of a reaction to horse fly bites as I used to – which is perhaps as well, as I’ve lost count of the number that have got me

Funny that i’m the same this year. Normally i swell up like a balloon.

I stay here when up at Golspie http://www.sleeperzzz.com its a great place to stay, pub with food just a crawling distance away and central for Golspie and Balblair and you can’t go wrong for £16 a night.
Both trails are worth the visit and if you fancy a detour on the way up Learnie red rock is worth going to.
Try http://www.trailscotland.co.uk/forums for more suggestions as a few of the members are local to there.

Had a nice ride around Mabie red and some of the off-piste, very tired legs now and it was a bit too humid.

Renault Kangoo Trekka 4×4 1.9dci, 50mpg and you can get two built bikes in the back with the seat down, fine so long as you can put up with the popemobile jibes.

Panda 4x4td is a good option as well.

3: actual normal people(well as normal as ladies get, so basically bonkers within socially acceptable margins)

    3 is very very rare!

I know loads of three’s but they only ever want to be friends, can be a bit frustrating.

Me, stopped looking, but have the attitude of if it happens it happens, however if you know of any single girls in central scotland who don’t mind someone who rides an Orange Five (probably not many :D) let me know.

    Great result.

Used to work in a gun/fishing shop and used to quite often get undesirables trying to flog stolen airrifles,it used to be quite exiting waiting with cid in the shop to nab them.

I ran various Landys for over 20 years starting with a very early 1984 90″ upto a TD5 90″ and loved them all and i would still have one if the goverment didn’t tax fuel as much, rant over. I still wouldn’t mind a Series one though.

Find the extreme ends of the crack and drill holes with a 1mm drill or smaller this should stop the crack growing anymore, has to be at the end or it will continue cracking..
