    Oh bad luck.
I had this last Christmas, sat on the loo with my head in the sink for hours. The stomach pains got that bad I eventually fainted and ended up going to casualty.
Good news was I lost a stone in weight.
    Get well soon.

The beaches around Mallaig are stunning, then ferry from Mallaig to Sky. Scotroutes has some great pictures of them.

20 years plus of using chainsaws professionally with correct PPE and i’ve yet to test the trousers and have no intention of doing so but i have no doubt they work.

Matt, have you tried D and G autos, i use the Inverkeithing branch and have found them to be excellent and they have two branches in Stirling.

I used to do all my own work but they do a good job for a very reasonable price so they now get the spannering jobs but for an oil change i’ll do it myself.

Put a RSJ or pre-stressed beam in where the wall is built so that the wall is then non load bearing, it means when you sell it the folk that buy it can knock out the wall if they want to.

In the three years I’ve had Pro 2 Evos I’ve had to replace the pawl springs each year as one or two have broken, this last time the new springs are slightly smaller and made of a different material so hopefully they might last longer.

Get some costs if you do settle without the insurance company.
I had someone back into the drivers door on my last Defender and it cost £900 to sort as there were no S/H decent doors available and that was doing the work myself and getting a friend to paint it.

I love my Alfine 11 hybrid, Cube Hooper Pro, think it’s about 45/18 and is not to bad up hills solo but i would probably change the ratios for carrying weight.

One of my friends did and they have gone up in price a fair bit since he got his.
If you go to the AGM it’s as much free beer as you can drink if your a stockholder and i believe you get a discount at their pubs.

I used to love clearing windblown sites, probably one of the most technical jobs to do and it makes a great nose when the root plates go back down, like timber says can be exciting. Warning boring bit, please don’t use power saws without PPE though.
Quite fancy a lecy saw for sneaky clearing though.

Good choice, i’ve been running the Vector 4 seasons for over a year now on my Kangoo 4×4 and i am very happy with them, they are great in the snow as well. A friend also runs them on his Octavia Scout and is happy with them.

I do it for nothing and only charge for parts, it’s worth it for the good Karma, I also do odd jobs at a LBS for nothing, it gets me a discount and use of any specialized tools for doing my own bike.

Symbicort for me, works really well and hardly have to take my Ventolin. The most effective thing for my asthma is cetrizine, basically a once a day piriton but on prescription.

Could be needing a new earth strap or two as the’re prone to dissolving away rather rapidly with the amount of salt used on the roads for the last few winters. You get the same symptoms as a bad battery or starter.

Apologies though grey, I was a bit harsh, earlier. Since a driver rammed my car deliberately in May and said it was my fault as an ‘Audi driver’ – despite witness reports to contrary, I am a little sensitive.
Thanks for that, it’s easy to be sensitive on a forum as we don’t know each other, i’ve done the same myself.
I don’t class all Audi drivers the same, as for JC i wouldn’t have a clue what he says as i don’t watch him.
I own an Orange Five, so i’m not perfect either, oh and one of my favourite cars is the Audi TT (i’m not a hairdresser BTW ).

The same regurgitated Jeremy Clarkson bullshit that regularly pops up. Have you ever heard that people focus on data that supports their prejudices and ignore the data that doesn’t…

I know a lot of traffic officers around here and they say the same, at the moment it’s Audis in 6 moths time it’ll be something else it probably has something to do with car sales at the time it’s not picking on drivers of certain models for a period of time it’ll be BMW’s or Merc’s or Volvos or something else, it’s probably something else elswhere in the country.
I take it from your rant you drive an Audi.

Beside me it’s Audi drivers, new models, old models, doesn’t seem to matter they all drive like t*ts, they seem to have taken over from Beemer drivers.
Another beside me is older drivers who travel at 40mph everywhere, 60mph limit then 50mph limit and even when they get to the 30mph limit its still 40mph and when they get to hills they lose the ability to press the go pedal harder or change gear, and breathe… i feel better now.
