    Drakes[/url] in Ripley, just off the A3 and a short distance off the M25 jct 10. I’ve not eaten there but our more wealthier neighbours have and enjoyed the experience! It’s got a Michelin star, so it must be flash.

    Sat at my desk at work on Thursday and suddenly felt dizzy with the room spinning and unable to focus my eyes. Called a first aider who spoke with NHS 111, who recommended contacting my GP and don’t do anything that might make me dizzy (really!). Managed to get an emergency appointment with my GP, who diagnosed Labrythnitis and gave me an injection of Prochlorperazine and a course of tablets, though I think this is more to stop the dizziness and vomiting, rather than treating the inner ear infection itself.

    I’ve got a ST4 and love it. However, I was out on it the other night and heard a disconcerting noise, which turns to have been the linkage snapping! Oh, well. Don’t suppose they’re still available from Orange?

    most Council’s will have some form of web mapping available on their website, so check their first. Most, including the Surrey CC web map mentioned above, will include OS MasterMap, which is the most detailed level of mapping available. Expect to see the Council’s logo watermarked on the map image, so it might not be suitable for what you want to use it for.

    glad to help! I think I created that PDF for one of the first VCGH mtb club rides we did. I hadn’t spotted the spelling mistake 😳
    If you do the route from the station, then the bridleway past the donkey sanctuary to the A286 will be very muddy at the moment.

    VCGH stopped running MTB rides, so they’ve removed the MTB section from the sebsite. I think you can still access the PDFs – http://www.vcgh.co.uk/mtb/routes

    Read an interesting article in Saturday’s Guardian about the rise of domestic CCTV and the issues it can cause between neighbours. Hope you get your problems sorted.

    A soft-coated wheaten terrier may be a more laid back house dog (but more grooming required).

    Yep, certainly less feisty than other terriers but still with an independent streak. Ours gets brushed at least once a week and I trim the coat every so often. They don’t shed, which is a plus. As others have said, socialisation is the key with any puppy, regardless of breed.

    I have an Orange ST4 (same as in matt_outandabout’s piccy) with 120mm Rebas. In bits at the moment as I need to sort the bearings out, but it’s the best bike I’ve owned and suits my type of riding perfectly.

    I’ve just georeferences your 2nd screenshot above using the grid numbers and selecting UTM 34N as CRS and it fits okay. The format of the coordinates are:

    x = 467000, y= 7747000

    Have you tried using 4 points instead of 3? It’s been awhile since I used QGIS to georeference an image (I normally use MapInfo), so can’t remember the various option, but if you send me one of the raster images, I can try to do it tomorrow at work.
