Less busy? You mean dead? Gone from 2-3 buses per weekend to just one. Hardly surprising the dh track is boring and unmaintained. Bpw is 25mins away. Even when the new trails open before Xmas is going to have to be something special…. Its 7 years too late

I didn’t buy one in the end, but only because the Mrs didn’t want one, but several emails back and forth with the chap, and he seemed a decent bloke.

nice use of a £30ish cpu cooler and selling it for £155

    that looks fine :D

just compress the suspension and how does the mech look?

    greeble

why are you bipassing the mech when getting the chain length?? some bikes have more than 2 links of chain growth as the frame goes through its travel

big ring/big ring, remove air/spring, compress suspension and check the chain length add or remove links depending on the mech cage position. around 4pm position is fine

start in the little carpark at the end of the wall trail. stop for lunch in the cafe at glyncorrwg. Then ride back along the trail to the carpark.
Alot of the trees have gone loads of diversions. have fun

BPW looks like a load of very short runs. Can you put them all together easily as was after a good 4-5 hr ride out?

    hell yes!

ride up to the top, down
    up, down
    up, down
    up, down

repeat until you can’t pedal no more…
there’s plenty to keep you occupied.

whats the deal with the offset bushes never seen this as a mod before? douse it make much diffrence?

you can only run one offset bush due to the lower eyelet of the shock being mounted without any reducers.
you can get a 6x22mm bush with a 3mm offset mounted to the top. It slackens off the headangle a tad and drops the bb slighty.
