sounds like misalignment and a crap bleed rather than leaky piston.
Is there there any sign of fluid on the caliper rather than assuming there is

you sure its not the pads moving in the caliper?

have you tried moving the rotor by hand to see if its loose?

why would you by a 2.1 system with blueray?
surely to maximise the most of hd blueray 5.1 ot 7.1 would have made more sense.

don’t kashima it the best upgrade by far would be to ask mojo to fit the SKF seals thats biggest difference you’ll notice. (though i’m sure they’re fitted as part of a standard service now)

if you’re a gamer 16gb will help? fail to see a game using 16gb. Honestly look at the resource monitor after you’ve played not even battlefield 3 uses more than 3-4gb’s
A GPU with a large amount of RAM is another matter.

best thing to do is use the cpu and ram meter from the gadgets in windows 7. keep an eye on it from as you use your pc and look how much ram is being used.
usual day to day use doesn’t warrent 16gb at all. You’ll not notice any difference. If you’re using it for video editing, photoshop, 3D simulations etc then yes

And they look better than zip ties

like someone is going to notice as you ride past covered in mud.

though I guess you’d be outcast from bunch of cable clip using mates for using zip ties.

I have about 10 left over from various builds you can have for free if you’re interested as I don’t care for them

    I saw….

but I fail to see the advantage to running these over cable ties.
you’re likely to loose these. and expensive to replace.
you can buy 100 cable ties for £2.95

    greeble

come on use zip ties. those clips are rubbish. they can unclip far too easily. and cost far too much

possibly the worst time to buy a hard disk. due to flooding in east asia production of hard disks are seriously down. what used to be £30ish for a 1tb drive and £50ish for a 2tb drive
you’re now looking at £120ish minimum for a £2tb drive.

look into getting a ssd for just the os. and a stanadard sata for the rest.

I’ve got it running on a home build htpc with a tuner card and 2tb storage. I have my video/ music library on it. I can watch and record live TV. and use 4od, iplayer, icefilms etc too

personally I use tesco tube have done on the xc/am bike and the dh bike. the dh bike has been to the alps for years, and raced countless races in the uk. never had a problem. granted had a few punctures but they’re from unavoidable situations. I make sure I always dust the inside of the tyre with talc.

Plus 2 links does not produce too short a chain on a 1×9 – it makes one exactly the right length – 2 bikes I have set up like that

    keep kidding yourself

    greeble
    Free Member

Edit – the plus 2 links is not a good start for 1 x 9, the formula for 3 x 9 is big to big plus 2 links is only okay because you should never actually ride big to big. Setting up a 1 x 9 in the same manner will prob result in too short a chain when riding on the largest sprocket.

    Hense why this…

Best and most trusted 1×9 chain length calculator I’ve used is –

    Shift the bike into 1st.
    Remove shock spring/air from shock.
    Compress the suspension.
Fit the chain, add or remove links until the mech is almost at full stretch.

If its 1×9 on a hardtail then

    Shift the bike into 1st.
Fit the chain, add or remove links until the mech is almost at full stretch.

    works best

greeble – is that an airbrush?

it is! right now i’m using a cheap ebay chinese copy which does what I want it to but would love to have a nice Iwata. with style similar to that saoutchik roadster wwaswas posted up there.

why does the mech length make a difference?

    think about it……

more or less chain passing through the mech depending on the mech length. adding two links maybe too much for a short cage mech – leading to incorrect chain length
and maybe too short for a long cage mech leading to incorrect chain length
