all my opinions are expert – not that expert opinion is required here

When I put the brakes I don’t think its too much to ask that the bike stays put – not rock backwards and forwards

you’re no expert then. apply the brake when riding the rotor will not move forward and backwards

Glad I rode it today and not after the masses on the weekend. Parts are pretty muddy the weekenders will tear it up. Fantastic trail! It properly feels like you’re on the middle of nowhere and hill has been used to its best. Oh and watch out for ian Watkins hideout in the trees

    Axle Types

Converting our 20mm ISO front hub to a different axle standard is simple and easy. Our one piece axles are quickly interchangeable allowing you to easily transfer your Chris King equipped wheels between bicycles. Please refer to the Hub Specs Menu for specific axle compatibility.

I’ve got a set of shortnose T4 rhd headlights you can have if you want them. They have yellow indicators not the newer clear. £40 the lot.
Secondly you might have to buy a new dial cluster. Note the current milage in the logbook and carry on with the imperial dash cluster

All you need to know is that a straight steerer will fit a tapered head tube, but a tapered head tube will not fit a straight steerer.

Unless you have a straight 44 steerer headtube…..

Having 9mm qr allows the wheel to conform the the terrain. This makes the trail come alive. With 15-20mm this deadens resonations felt through the handlebars

Fit a 190mm x 50mm shock. Then fit a 3mm offset bush to the top eylet to bring the shock closely back down to orignal i-2-i that should add a bit extra travel without too much bother

Thanks for the gnarinfo to really make the most of my day. Ive decided to take all possible angleset cups with me. Just spoken with the workshop at bikepark wales and they are willing to let me ‘pitstop’. Each run I’ll be changing the headangle. This will all me to find optimum stoke rad factor.
I’ll be compling an XML spreadsheet noting my findings.
Just discovered offset shock bushes…
I hope this will be a benchmark that will really make the trails come alive
