They can obviously afford to pay the bonuses and payrises oyu’ve been previously promised so i’d start there. Just higlight that you haven;t had these payrises yet and as newer employees have you think its only fair. The boss might just be keeping the purse strings closed because your not pushing the issue. If you don’t ask you don’t get

Eh am I missing something? There’s a big difference between helping people get a roof over there head, fed and medical attention and just giving them money. It’s about human decency if we can help in any way we should, even if that’s just to get them on there feet sooner so things don’t get worse.

If the shit hit the fan here I’m sure you guys would be the 1st to refuse foreign aid eh?

mmmm may have part solved this. On my domaain I can set [cathchall] to be delivered to a blackhole. This would stop anything thats not addressed to my main emailing being sucked into the ethos. Is this a good thing to do? it will stop all the chuffing auto responders but might miss an email that someone has typed the address slightly wrong…

Although this still doesn’t stop whoever/whatever is is sending randomized emails from my domain

If people really don’t want to pay by paypal gift is it really that difficult for them to add on the fee to ensure the seller gets the agreed money?

    Come on its basic maths.

If you don’t like the way some people deal, don’t deal with them.

    Simples, nobodys forcing anyone

The public muppet tags maybe a bit OT.

I can understand the sellers frustration though if the buyer makes up his own rules and then ignores all emails. The amount of money is irrelevant.

    gravitysucks

No that isn’t the point of this thread Don.
The seller dictated one method to ensure he got all of his money.
The buyer choose another method and didn’t except the fee’s himself, making the seller pay them.

IE the seller didn’t get the full amount he asked for. The seller is calling him a muppet because he hasn’t received the amount of money agreed in the sale.

Xiphon – why does the seller have to factor this in? If someone paid by cash / cheque / bank transfer there would be no fees to factor in.

Surely the buyer owes the seller an agreed amount and has to factor in expense if he chooses a payment method that charges.

If I sell you something for £100. I want £100 not £95. I’ll take any payment method the buyer wants but I want the £100. If the buyer wants a quicker more secure service then they pay for it.

Remember, Paypal benefits buyers more than sellers. look at the other options….

Bank Transfer – no protection for buyer(seller gets money straight away)

Cash – No protection for buyer (Seller get money straight away, in post)

Cheque – Buyer has to wait for cheque to clear before things are sent (Poss 1 week delay for buyer)

Paypal – Seller has to withdraw money so has to wait maybe 3 – 4 days to receive money. Buyer gets security and item is generally posted staright away. A service worth paying a little more for.

As a buyer, if I trust someone I will gift it. If I don’t but am willing to take the risk I will paypal and pay the fee’s. I don’t mind paying fee’s if it means I don’t have to faff about sending a cheque and i’ll receive the item a lot quicker.

30 cxi here. Was in house when we bought it but less than two years old. In the last three years we’ve had maybe 5 occasions when is buggered up. Bit of a pain in the ass really as every prob we had seemed to be a common fault when I looked into it. When we replace I wouldn’t get another one

She’s marketable and makes lots of money for herself and those around her….

Look at the record sales. Pretty similar to that of the spice girls, Steps and countless others in the same genre that will never make music that will last the ages.

The man from Crawley was arrested under the Public Order Act on suspicion of causing harassment, alarm or distress

Sussex Police later confirmed that they had arrested the fan, who would not be permitted to travel to Manchester for the match on Saturday

Sounds like he was arrested to make a point and stop the situation in its tracks before it escaleted into something else. Arresting him gave the police justification to make sure he would be no where near the match.

Boom Picasa 3 is king. Don’t even have to do anything just look at the image within picasa and then click the export tab. When it exports is does so as a jpeg.

its concrete evidence that he took epo. Its not a criminal offence to take epo. Its was not against the rules to take it when he did as there was no test for it then. The breach of rules was to have a heamatocrit of higher than 50%

So he played the game within the rules at that time?

    gravitysucks

Surely that can’t be evidence of innocence either?

I wasn’t using it as a postition of innocence, as said it doesn;t sound like a doper.

I believe innocent until proven guilty, if guilty then a tougher punishment. One that will actully make the dopers stop and think.

Wiggins has always spoken against dopers in the past. He now sits on the fence more. Thats more likely to do with his media empire sponsor than anything else.

You’ve got to be kidding me! How naive are you? Have you read any of “Wiggo’s” statements regarding Lance and Landis?

What so you think Wiggins is a doper? any evidence there fella?
Yes I have read statements, that basically say he’ll believe Armstrong innocent until proven guilty and that Landis has questionable credability. Thats about right isn’t it? He’s entitled to an opinion as much as you or me. To say that he’s guilty of doping based on his opinion is a pretty big stretch.
If all the Pro riders that don’t support Landis are also guilty of doping thats a hell of a lot of riders!

Was it not Wiggins calling for all testing data to be made public? doesn’t sound like a doper to me…..

Yeh thats what annoys me about the whole affair, if you get good enough your almost to good. He could be a genuine talent but the dopers shadow over the sport ruins it.

It makes you wonder if we could ever have a genunie talent to be proud of. If wiggo suddenly takes a podium this year (certainly within his capabilties) would people automatically think drugs after last years performance? and Wiggo’s def a rider I would put down as having a totally clean career, whenever that ends.

Its a whole sorry affair, dopers just ruin the entire of pro cycling. I love pro cycling but its getting harder and harder to perceive true talent when speculation about doping surrounds all the top players.

I mean, even Schleck who I would never expect to be a doper. You get a young man getting better and better over the seasons until he reaches the top of the game and then is performing on par with a doper. The uncertainty of not knowing if its raw talent and hardwork or drugs takes away all the majestic of the triumphs.

Dopers convicted with 100% certainty should have life time bans or shot out of a canon.

Haha you reckon hora? he did look slightly miffed off!

I’d like to think Schleck is clean, comes across as a top bloke

If Contador was cheating in the 2010 Tour was Schleck clean?

The only previous Tour winner to be stripped of the title was Floyd Landis in 2006.

Maurice Garin was stripped of his title in the 2nd tour in 1904. He was initial winner but then disqualified in the following December after an investigation.

If Friday A&A gets banned then it is nothing more than a whinger forcing his views on a public forum and getting his own way.
The forum has rules. The forum has moderators to manage those rules.
People get banned for flaunting those rules.

Do we really need self righteous people forcing opinions down our throat?

I’m still wondering why the “Bloke thread” was ok but this isn’t. Can anyone smell Hypocrisy?

    gravitysucks

However from previous discussions there are many who agree with me including many of the women who post on here

Are these the same women who instigated the “Bloke Thread” a short time ago? Did you not get involved with that thread yourself TJ?

This forum is diverse. People have different tastes. If this belongs on a sports illustrated forum then maybe you should seek sailing advice from a forum more appropriate than a biking one.

I understand your pov if a thread degrades to something inappropriate but is there really any need for childish tags and rants before this may or may not happen?

    gravitysucks

Nice tags…. why do people get there knickers in a twist about this thread??!!

This forum is so diverse its scarey sometimes, its a good thing but if I see a thread titled “what bird landed in my garden” I simply don’t look at the thread. Is that something the haters can’t do?
