You would have to have the egg boxes within the room to kill the noise

To kill noise from above flat we had to cover up the entire ceiling with Two 10mm pieces of rubber on top
of each other and then Two boards of plaster board to kill any noise from the above flat.

This was recommended by an Architect to pass the flat conversion.

MObile phones – most workplaces I have worked in it its instant dismissal for using them in works time – I know of people dismissed for it as well

Thought they could sit down on sites after brining furniture in for installation
and txt and made calls, shared pics and jokes

But there has been a huge reduction in Large manufacturing
including the midi sized factories or workshops that simply
get it made out of this country !
Its ok quoting numbers all day but just how much of that 7th largest manufacturing
is actually made within our waters?

Most of it is brought in made outside and sold off
I would say the North of England is around the last areas of larger manufacturing

A guy I know buys his furniture in from Italy and takes the stickers off and puts his own brand on
and has two guys touching up damaged items and then sending out.

Trickier there days Fred, as you are meant to produce your V5 before they’ll make them for you.
Pfft. It’s easy to get plates made up for you. Loads of places will do ’em without a V5. A mate had a new plate made up recently, to replace a cracked one, and Halfords I think it was did one even though he’d forgotten his V5. And backstreet places will knock ’em up for a few quid no trouble.

Doubt it’s cos of cost either. Plates are cheap, you can make loads on a dodgy motor.

most of my repetitive sized furniture is made around Manchester and
we just concentrate on making the special sized cabinets now.

Its cost affective and i am also keeping people employed within this country.
