Other than that I would have a pillar drill set up and have a drill bit made
    with a pre radius shape.
I use these guys for all my bespoke and off the shelf tooling.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for sanding round the edges of holes. Currently using a fingertip and a bit of fine sandpaper, but a dome-shaped fine sanding thingy would be great, but they don’t seem to exist. Any ideas?

Just buy one of these I use and use a 1mm radius cutter on a guide bearing to run along the
radius of the hole times money and a minute is 100% so hand sanding will take to long
and will eat into your profit.

B+Q is bloody rubbish. They’ve right cut back on their tool range, no longer do their proper decent little Dremel type thing, and have about 3 accessories for them.

They also don’t do simple woodworking things like 8ft lengths of 6mm dowel. TBH it seems to be going towards pre-fabricated cheap shite than actual DIY stuff.

Going to have fun trying out some beeswax in a bit. Goes on very nice, polishes up well. Does it harden up, or stay as a softish finish? Not for this project, but for future reference.

Also bought some boiled linseed oil, but I’m too scared to actually use it. Apparently it can ‘spontaneously combust’ with vigorous rubbing.

Oh, and Evostick wood glue is for the win. Fantastic stuff; only need a little bit, lasts ages and is proper strong, as I discovered once after making a mistake. Just 20 mins and the bugger was rock solid.

God Effin I have offered several times and see you have NO finishing skills and don’t want to see
you falling at the first hurdle. Furniture is a touch and feel product and nothing worse having a
lovely product with a shit finish and then trying to describe what it is actually going to feel like!
when you don’t know how to achieve one to be able to speak about one.

Isn’t the Engineered timber constructed as follows
Plywood with an 5mm to 10mm solid wooden veneer
Plus you have the acoustic underfloor mating underneath that

    Think you’ll be ok
If it was solid wood you may, may be in trouble and I would take a moisture
reading of the timber before going ahead.
But with the Engineered floor would be more stable

Try Amazon. Type in the name of the camera and there maybe a
book that gives you different assignments to get the best out of your camera.

Other than that find a local organisation or evening course and buy some magazines.

[Wind farms producing noise pollution, visual pollution]

    {loss of scarce metals}

Well these are normally made from tubular Steel and the blades are made from
Glass-fibre reinforced polyester or Wood-epoxy so not any scarce material used.

LOL what ! irrelevant crazy. these are not near homes, and what is visual pollution ?
Now I wonder why so much money is wasted during planning before anything is built

Ni1962 – the amp itself will drive a USB flash drive plug-in and play, i’m presuming it will play a hard drive as well.

Hi mate I see your blurb. Most portable external hard drives are plug and play type
But there are the Desk Top hard drives that are powered via a plug.
Best thing if you don’t have one is to borrow a friends portable external hard drive
    and see if that works.

    grantway

    Is this an LG amp?
I have a LG system in one of our homes and yes you can use an external hard drive
and also a USB too in the same port. In fact i can record cd’s onto the hard drive, USB too.

Most external hard drives are powered up on the lead that goes into your amp
    or laptop.

The pay maybe the same but the NHS can’t make a profit
But if you want a soap dispenser on the wall equals to £ 65.00p Each.
and this would normally be Two items per room and how many rooms
in a Hospital ? But the Public sector person would be on an average
    £ 180.00p per week.

Put it this way a friend of mine whom works for an East London NHS trust
Gets £ 180.00p per week He was told to fit the above soap dispensers
to every room in a Care Centre.
This had taken him 8 days and cost to us £ 288.00p

Private sector cheapest quote for same job £ 3,300.00p

This goes on day after day now re do your maths fella 😉

Regarding Pensions No one should have the right to tap into nor change
    someones pension.
As this is whats left for you in your final years and being the average pay
in a Public pension is £ 7,500.00p per year and you think this is a tidy sum
    to live on !
And the fact that the more money they are to pay in is not any finical gain to them
But to pay off the deficit ? Government needs to grow balls and get it back from the
banks, being thats where the debt lies!
