I had a good friend as you describe.
I approached and we gave it a go, and we are still married after 20 years now.
So give it a go!

All I can say about PC’s is that over the past 8 years I spent £1,500 for my PC and that died
with a virus.
I then bought a Laptop £ 1,100 and that died with a virus.
Then bought another Laptop £ 600 that too died of a virus
All used with the most upto date antivirus software.

I bought my Daughter an Apple white laptop £ 800 and still going strong after 8 years
So I bought the Mac Book Pro and will NEVER go back to a PC You just don’t realise
how Crap/shit a PC is until you have had a Mac.

All I can say is once when I was a PC user I shared some of the views of the PC users here
But now just ignore them

Windows simply needs a clean out every now and then. Nobody throws macs out because they are still paying them off

Dell makes some great machines that last really well. My last laptop did 6 years fine. My current workhorse PC just gets periodic upgrades to keep it on top – small amount each year. Still better value than a Mac.

Howdens do the same kitchens as branded Schrieber elsewhere. The pictures of ours in the Howdens catalogue was the same room set as the MFI brochure of the time – just a different image.

So stay away from them has well then !!!

I fitted one recently for an old client of ours and done small build works
But the cabinets themselves aren’t of good quality and you have to convert
cabinets into say a blind corner unit and the blanking panel is a 4mm hardboard panel
and you just have to sort out the problems and you come up against a lot with Magnets

Also the micro wave housing shown in the picture don’t exist but they designed it
and just sold the client a few end panels so i had to draw it up and make it on site
so make sure you have the correct tools for the job.

Also be careful Magnet flogged the client over £ 1,000 in end panels and cornice that was not
used or needed, so make sure you can return such items has it was a battle to get the money back.

There doors are about the best part of the kitchen.
