i’ll bare the hearth thing in mind. Be easy enough to cut into 4 with a Stihl saw if it comes to it.
I might fabricate a plinth out of steel at work to raise it up off the floor a little as the legs/feet on both the ones i’m looking at are v.short.

If you end up doing one get the CCNSG as most sites i’ve been to recently seem to be fazing that in and fazing CSCS out.
Get it if you can, can’t hurt to add it to your CV.

Hey Mark, i’ve been given some 5″ flue, so ideally i’ll be using that although most stuff over 8kw seems to be 6″. 🙄

Really its a case of the bigger the better as the stove will be in the kitchen which is about 27′ x 14′, there is a door then into the lounge which sides onto the kitchen giving an area of about 28′ x 28’ish. I’m hoping to heat the whole area.

Hearth wise i’ve got a 3″ thick 30″ x 36″ slate slab 😀

I can get one of these for a tickle under £500.
The 12kw ones the dealer has are steel not cast but i can’t find any reference to them online, they maybe a different make.

I was working at a new solicators office very near Tower bridge.

On a plus note for Swansea, part of Rodgers deal includes a clause that no Swansea players can be bought by Liverpool for 12 months.
Not that that will stop loads of other Premiership teams making offers on Sinclair, Dyer and Vorm to name but a few.
I really don’t think that Rodgers departure will be Swansea’s undoing as they were playing great football under Martinez before he arrived.
The major problem now is that the ‘its ok to be on crap wages(compared to the rest of the prem)so long as we are playing beautiful football’ argument doesn’t standup anymore as he’s gone to Liverpool for huge money, so there’s no reason why half the squad won’t follow suit.

North Gloucester Road racing club/championship goes to Oulton a couple of times a year.
Superb standard bike racing(BSB boys sometimes test at the meetings as the pace is so good).
Very little in the way of spectators and cheap to get in

There is a DH track/course near Dwygyfylchi up the road from ‘The national centre for welsh language’ very steep and looks quite ‘hardcore’ ends near the beach and cafe.
