I had an issue with some car headlights I’d bought on there and wanted to return. Tried to print off returns label but I could only see it was for Royal Mail ie smaller parcels.
Can you do one that you would use Parcel Force?
Tried asking on there and gave up, paid £20 🙄😳

Bit annoying that I didn’t order the other day when I ordered some inner tubes….. Controversial… 😂

@Cougar, I was telling my 9 year old son about this at breakfast this morning. He looked thoughtful for a moment before getting up and disappearing off upstairs for a while.

He came back down with one of his beloved toy dinosaurs and a little note he’d written:

“To Ren, I am sorry to hear you are unwell and I hope you get well soon. And I like dinosaurs too and I thought that you would like the one that I will mail to you.”

    That got me…..

Sorry, only just seen this thread now. Will ping some money over and search for a card for each of them.

    @blitz
    – lovely.

Don’t need to remove the bushes to get air can off, unless the spacers are too wide to be able to slided the can off.
If you need to change the bushings then you can get tools on ebay.

No, more than the adapters – discs, cranks + wheels on top of the frame. His call, said he doesn’t have the extra funds.
Shame as I’ve stripped down a lovely bike!

    Thanks for help.
Spoke to mate and he’s decided not to buy the frame now, due to the added costs so I’ve stripped the bike for nowt….but on the upside I’ve learned something new :-)

wheel size is 47-622 so 1.75″ x 700, forgot to measure the rims but from memory they look around 40mm deep so guess I’m looking at 60mm valves?

LOL, not drunk special brew since the 80s but yes I was thinking it’s a taller can so will find an easier to drink taller can alternative, maybe tonic water, maybe not!

10 years, no brainer surely….They’re so low compared to a few years ago, we did 5 year fix on 5% when the variable rate was 6 point something.

@redstripe I did Google chap that’s why I asked how much as they have no stock at the mo. If its a 5 month wait then I’ll have to get something else.

I’ve been having a think about it and as I’ll be using it on the road to build the miles up and try and get some fitness I’ve decided I’ll got for a hub motor, not sure if front or rear?
I have disc brakes fitted so take it they are compatable.
Any advice or links on which gear to get would be great. Seen a few on Ebay but not sure if they’re ok. I’m using old XT 8 speed drivechain so would that work with a rear hub motor? Think they seem to have 7 speed cassettes?

    Cheers again for any help.

Are r2-bike any good? Was looking at my
Usual bike-discount but arent even shipping to U.K. at the moment

I see the XT mech is 86 euros on r2
    add 12.5 shipping,
    plus 20% vat
    plus 14-15% customs fee
    Plus handling charge

    Starts getting expensive

Not sure your maths is right there chap…..
They’ve already charged 19% VAT over there.
Is the customs fee 14-15%? Genuine question.
