I was thinking that once you add the split link to a sram chain it would also be 116 links?

The bike is 34 up front and 46 cassette and old chain was 114 links, have no idea if it was long enough tho, how do u work that out?
I’ll have a look for those recommended later.

I’d been thinking about getting a bike on bike to work scheme which starts next week.
Looking at the 4 year buy back factor, availability and general 4-5k cost of bike I was having second thoughts.
Yes you get warranty (2 years?) on motors etc which is a positive but I’m not sure I could justify the big outlay tbh.
Even 2nd prices are high I think, supply & demand doesn’t help I guess?
Paid 2k, maybe a touch too much, as Bon said back in the day, we’ll see.
Got some work on the drive chain to do first before I can get out.

I took a punt and bought the bike. We’ll see how it goes.
    Thanks for the advice.
No receipt available for any potential ‘warranty’ work so bit of a gamble but that’s the chance you take isn’t it. 😂
    Genuine seller btw, nowt dodgy!

Thinking about buying one, going to view tomorrow.
Has the yaris the E7000 motor tho, so that’s 2 negatives then!
For those that had motors replaced, warranty or paid out? Wonder how much new e7000/e8000 motors are?
I see spare batteries are circa 600 notes.
Will check pivot bearings and seat tube and give everything a once over and take it from there.
    Cheers so far for help.

Rules in France has been relaxed I think so it’s busy there now over the half term. Might of had extra traffic yesterday with Dover port being closed.

I fear there’s something of a difference between “one of the brake callipers was missing a bolt” and “THE BRAKES WERE NOT ATTACHED TO THE CAR 😱” in capital letters. Which was it?

    This.
But I would have thought that taking the wheels off checking the brakes would have been of the checks tbh.

I forgot to say on my other post that Blue Cross have a pet bereavement helpline.
I used them a couple of times when we lost Felix and it really helped, you can could talk for as long as you wanted.
We donate to them every year since.
It might be of use to you and others on here that didn’t know about them, as I didn’t until I posted on here few years ago about Felix.
    Take care.

Sorry for your loss chap. It hurts loads when you lose a much loved pet.
With time hopefully the happy memories will be more prominent.
    Take care.

It’s all very worrying for the vulnerable and those on low income. Hope the Government look after those groups.

    The Topeak might work cheers.
@ North, how long is the lower strap? I would have to put bottle nearer to the left grip so will have to go with the other options I think.

Don’t hold your breath as Matt says its pretty limited (from a possibly inaccurate memory its something about not obstructing a vertical 45degree of the sky (can’t remember if this is measured from the cill or head of the window).

Window guy told me it was from the centrepoint of window I think?

I read the article on MSE too for short break CDW insurance, pretty sure there were annual options too. Worth a look, car hire info I think it was.

I’ll have to fit it either on left or right side so think I’d need a fixed mount?

I bought something on here a few years ago for around 600 notes and that was with a nervous Bank Transfer lol. Seller was a regular on here so took the punt.

    Cougar, what Jamz said….

The dried leaves are often put into herbal smoking mixes, maybe because they are soothing on the lungs? But it’s also a mild narcotic, so that could also be why… Apparently (according to ‘A Modern Herbal’) it does have a long history of being used for pulmonary conditions. Never having had asthma myself I cannot comment on its usefullness but I would say give it a try, many people find herbal medicines very effective, despite what Cougar and co say.

Anyway, I’ll leave this here. It was a bit left field asking on here but you never know until you ask. Thanks for input folks.
    :-)

Sorry Cougar, you have lost me there?
Our work place has a very strict policy on what medication is allowed due to some safety critical roles, many over the counter meds aren’t allowed but this wasn’t flagged up by Occ Health.
