Half will tell you buy something from Decathlon for half the price and the other half will tell you buy something from Rapha or Gore for 300 quid.

    So true lol.

It’s videos like this and the Akrigg one that make you realise how much GoPros and drones have enabled filming and cinematography that only a few years ago would have only been available to big budget film makers

    Yep agree with that.

When I was thinking of doing ours a few years ago a mate who works in building control said to use 50mm celotex or the like inbetween the rafters to leave a 50mm gap then overboard with 100mm or 50mm celotex, can’t remember which now.

I still have fibreglass in between the joists. :-)

Wool duvets, new to me but sound good. Do they keep their shape or settle like down ones?
    £700+ notes on a duvet…..

Bikey T shirts & hoodies from Spoke & Solice (Spokes)
30% off, just today I think….sorry for the late post.
    Code BRD2020

It’s my first time ordering since they have changed things so can’t say if the quality of the shirts is still as good as they used to be.

I was with Giffgaff for years but eneded up getting a P20pro last year on contract as it was cheaper.
I did all the sums and going through Topcashback and Mobile phones direct and remembering to do their cashback claims it worked out at around £26-27 per month on EE. Would have been £32ish with buying handset and Giffgaff.

    Look around I’d say.

£10k? That’s cheap. A certain shop in the Surrey Hills is selling them for £12k. Plus £35 postage of course.

    Love it :-)

    Following this.
Noticed a ‘knocking’ when lifting the rear of the bike today. Thought it might be the top shock bushing so changed that, still there…
Need to have another look and eliminate other possibilities, whatever they might be…? But I did wonder if it might be the bearings.
How much is a set of bearings?

Well apologies then if 10k on a bike has been around for a while, I am obviously well out of touch.
I just noticed it in an email from a bike shop this morning.
Each to their own I guess.

    I’ll try that mate cheers.
Didn’t see the point of spending £30-40+ on one, tbh didn’t realise they were as expensive as that.

Sounds like you might have sorted it but the mech hanger alignment tool is a good bit of kit and so glad I have it as nearly all of my bikes needed tweaking.

That went well OP didn’t it…….seems you have been unlucky by the looks of it.

I think with any mail order expect things to take longer than expected.

If you can’t find them anywhere trying emailing them on their contact page.
I did this 3 years ago to get some adapters and they sorted it and I paid the manufacturer direct.

Sorry folks been busy last few days. Thanks for info.
Shed, I would have gone for that thanks for that offer.
Uncle, if the offer still stands that would be great thanks I’ll msg you now.

Where’s the cheapest place to buy these new?
Cheapest PR saddle I’ve seen is around £110.
    Thanks again.

    Thanks for info folks.

Monk – Cheers I’ll contact them but according to their info I need a pr or pm saddle for off road?
I’ll keep eyes peeled for second hand too.

I got the Aldi one (same as Lidl one by the looks of it) as I’ve got their battery chainsaw and multi tool so they all use the same 40v batteries.

Only used the mower twice but it’s been fine for what I need.

But, the first mower was faulty from the get go but was sent a replacement and that’s been fine.

Meant to say if there are any links that would save me some time.

The last time I shipped a bike I used ParcelForce24 and it was around £70 insured for £1200

Blinkin flip……that’s gone up loads since I last sold a bike.
