OP, it could be me writing your opening statement…..apart from my present bike/s.
I’ll have a proper read up later, pretty sure I can’t justify the spends is the only thing on my mind..

    Yep what spooky said.
I use the x tools/lifeline one and although there is a little play once u have screwed it in the mech hanger, it’s easy to use and counter act it.

OP the origanal on looks naff to me tbh.

It’s not a hard job to bleed/trim hose to correct length. If shops are charging £25 a pop then even more reason to have a go. You can always take it to one if you don’t have any joy, but take your time and it should be fine.

I do remember seeing a Pro team mechanic’s vid on youtube (can’t remember the name) where they filled the funnel and opened the bleed valve on the caliper and let gravity do it’s job rather than fill from the caliper up into the funnel.
I’ve not actually done this yet but think others on here have done it this way with good results?

I was told by one particularly pleasant dog walker that I had done more damage to Southampton with the Bike Park that Hitler during the war.

Sorry had to laugh at this one :-)

Really enjoying this series, would be happy for any of the last 3 to win but think it’s between Santosh & Bart.

Someone joins EBay, wins the auction with their first bid (at a decent price for the buyer too).

Did that not ring any bells?
I’ve cancelled bids if buyers have no or very little feedback.
    Hope you get it sorted.

I used this on mine 6 years ago, the sun catching sides do need a repaint but I’m happy with the results, not sure what colours they have as I used black.

Is there a proper (and effective) tool for pushing piston apart? I use a screwdriver to lever them, it always terrifies me i’m going to crack the piston.

I use a plastic pedros tyre lever, works fine.

Oh and OP, hanger allignment tool for sure, I got the cheaper one off CRC.

Pretty much as ginger said I think. Not bought anything from over there for a few years but was around 4% import + postage +VAT on all of that +plus a handling fee for Parcel force.

Another thing, warranty, if you have issues with your frame and have to return it you may get stung for fees again I believe.

It might well suck having a mortgage into your 60s/70s but, work colleagues have mentioned how much private rental is at the moment….lordy lordy…..

Don’t use press as it will twist so piece of wood and hammer.
