OP yes, if you can afford one get one.
It’s on my mind but like others have said, stupid money and I can’t justify the money…I don’t think…….but would I get out more if I did have one……
Would it make sense to get one on a bike to work sceme and pay the top up of £2k+?
    Food for thought.

I have a mk3 VRS (petrol, DSG) and it’s the best car I have ever owned. The fact I still feel that after it cost me £6,000 after a freak engine failure says something I think!

    Wow timmys what was it?

Aviva is who I’m with but check all the details of cover as a lot of companies/underwriters seen to keep moving the goal posts.
Used to be with Pedalcover but changed to Aviva because of their change for outbuilding cover.

Feel for you OP and hope it’s sorted, tbh if they had 0 feedback I wouldn’t be selling someting that valuable to them.
Have to say that I’m not that chuffed with Ebay myself. Sold a few things and had a couple of winners back out with pathetic excuses. Can’t leave them negative feedback just cancel the sale, timewasters hack me off.

You could try going to a dry cleaners and asking if they have a 25L plastic drum going spare.

Or a builders bucket or bigger platerers bucket?
Bit easier to empty as smaller but obviously more often.

    Feel sad reading this thread.
No winners here at all…… can’t help but feel sad for the dog tbh but if the OP’s son can’t/won’t
change his behavour due to his age or otherwise then for all concerned it was the right decision.

As already said if you’re doing work for mates that have skills/trades you might need to call upon in the future then I’d ‘bank the time’and just charge them for materials.
If it’s mates rates then for 5 hours £75-100 + materials.

Got the same one as Vader to use in the mancave, it runs on the lowest setting for a couple of days before the tank needs emptying.
