Potentially an advantage for track cycling providing you are imbalanced the correct way round

Newsagents podcast has been amusing the past 2 days.  Their sources seem to show it was a massive screwup with individual mp’s thinking they were being clever

Can’t you tempt the triathletes to do some techy xc and get the amusement of watching?

Is there anything wrong with just riding your bike for fun?

It is different to what you are used to,  but not worse

We have a shark upright carpet cleaner.

Seems to do the trick with various creature fluids.

Got it in one of the amazon sales for not much and it has paid for itself a number of times over.

As mentioned above the colour of the water afterwards is worrying

Montane and alpkit do pile pertex tops, they are lighter than the buffalo ones

Zero are on sportpursuit frequently for a massive discount.  I like their sandals, not tried their shoes

Worked for me, looks like something went badly wrong with trying to give a covid jab. It shouldn’t have happened.

Clearly the antivaxxers are getting in on the assisted dying area now,  maybe they think they will be assisted to die against their wishes?

Will just leave this here for your perusal:

    https://web.archive.org/web/20241003004039/https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/09/28/nhs-sedate-downs-syndrome-patient-for-covid-jab-mother/

So what does that have to do with assisted dying with explicit consent?

Shitposting to try and support some point you haven’t even given yet is a particularly strange way of responding

The law can only apply to the individual.

It would give a lot more force to living wills, but I don’t get the donor card analogy.

There should be no circumstance where an individual is assisted to die if they cannot give consent.  That is different to the existing mechanisms of treatment withdrawal that already exist

Assisted dying with the appropriate controls should be considered a human right.

Other countries have a good balance,  the comments above about thin end of the wedge etc are reactionary bs that shouldn’t be involved in this debate.

Discuss the circumstances when you think it is acceptable and how to prevent undue influence as that is essential.

Leave the bs alone this is far too important an issue for that

Caution rather than ultimate barking performance.

    Woof?

    What tyres for dog agility?

Nope they are not a bad thing.

My wife tried one but just didn’t get on with it,  far far too heavy to be nice to ride.

I don’t want one because most of my riding is a weekly 2 and half hour charge around,  just wouldn’t be worth doing on an ebike

Knipex for sure,  as set of engineers pliers are worth their weight in gold.

There are times when nothing else works,  or at atleast as easily

Using an ebike to keep your heart rate down as a positive?

Yeah sure if you have a medical condition that means you shouldn’t go hard (have a mate who suffered from that), otherwise that is a poor excuse to be a lazy arse

Have the hankook 4s2 on the superb and they are great.

Ok probably less summer grip than dedicated summers but still more than enough and don’t have to change them.

I still run 2 sets on my mazda simply because when I bought it,  it was cheaper to get the smaller wheels and winters than to buy the normal size winter tyres on their own.  Not the case now though so if doing it again I would probably just have all seasons

It does my head in that you can’t have an escooter that is restricted and meets all the requirements of the hire ones,  yet some arse can go hammering past at 30mph on a bike with their feet up because they are delivering food

I think it is normal to worry about that.

Key thing is to be aware of it and know that you always apologise if you have messed up

An actual tornado hit Aldershot, causing almost £8 worth of damage

Bloody hell.  You mean the tornado managed to flatten a whole house?

Trail running gaiters make them more splash proof.  But not waterproof from the big hole at the top

As someone else has put,  rapha windstopper jersey is amazing in winter.  You freeze when you stop,  but when moving it is perfect down to about 5 degrees.

I got one of the rivelo softshell jackets from sportpursuit a couple of years back and that is great when it gets properly cold (below 5 degrees).

Use long bib shorts and either waterproof or softshell shorts for nearly all winter.  I tend to cook in trousers.

The easiest way I have found to clear is a battery hedge cutter.  But following a recommendation on here I bought a weed slasher, which has been great but needed some sharpening at the start and the handle needs a better shape.

Looks like a good tool but more than a little questionable

Ships? you mean those white fluffy buggers with legs you see on the hills?

    Second hand fjallraven from ebay.

Really robust but we’re silly cheap so I don’t care if they get covered in mud
