its the sudden increase in “road kill” badgers round here. They are everywhere.
No doubt being illegally shot dumped on the road & then run over to disguise

would love to take you up. We are right in the middle of Castle country with about 8 castles within 40min drive.
Down side would be that our place comes with two spaniels, chickens, fish , oh & the mother in law.

We had a similar problem with the home hub dropping the Apple TV &/0r printer. Changed to the Apple extreme & now no problem. Also a tad further range too

Our place built 1847, listed so not that well insulated, partial double glazing, 82% boiler but with good DHW cylinder & running a wood burner. We get through approx 1500 litres a year if that helps.

Used to have an Alfasud. Nothing would stop it. Nothin I tells ya

My Alfasud did not like standing water, due to flat 4 engine layout. Mind you, you’d never roll it.
Best car I have owned in the snow would be either my old Triumph Spitfire with the transverse rear spring rear wheels would really bite, or my old Lancia Fulvia Rally. Top car that

Your insurance company are saying that or his.
You claim for subs on yours & they go for recovery from his.
You cant be held responsible for not carry out preventative maintenance when its not your property.

Living on the “Shire” side of the hills is cheaper than the Worcs side.
Food & drink excellent, MHB, Wye Valley, Weston, Dunkertons.
Not the most lively place in the world but it depends on what YOU want out of life.
    Echo Malvern Hills weekends.
South Shropshire not far either for a bit of variety

we laid oak boards on concrete glued joints 7 years ago. Little bit of movement with a few joints opening up but its wood & wood moves. We love it wouldn’t change a thing. Oil it every 12 months & it takes everything we throw at it with kids, Dogs & wife.

I heard that they’re going to stop installing gas in new builds and go back to electric only due to network capacity

The Building Regulations (Part L ) is based on Gas as the benchmark for its target’s (TER) Would have to be a complete re think for SAP & SBEM assessments

Most of the villages where i live in Gloucestershire are off mains gas network. even though we have high pressure systems running through the area plus a huge high pressure gas storage plant a few miles up the road.
Result, majority of oil or LPG.

Really enjoyed East Tyrol in spring time. I know it’s in Austria but St Jakob only just as right on Italian border Dolomites. Great spring time skiing

had it serviced every year. Noticed drop in pressure, thought it was down to a faulty air valve, changed that kept loosing pressure, turn out that the jacket had split just outside of the warranty. Jacket replacement cost £1100 plus fitting.

Our external Grant oil boiler technically very good, 51/2 years down the line now having to replace it as it has split its jacket. Not a happy bunny

not sure what the Scottish version is but the basic deal in England is to replace non condensing <85% as a rough guide as define by the SAP 2005 ZEDBUK database, with a condensing boiler. You can also get cash back for upgrading control unit

    Don’t forget green deal potential.
You may be able to get back some of the expenditure if your old boiler is non condensing. Gas boiler i think would be roughly £270 back. worth looking at

Never let a dog loose on a shoot that isn’t 100% steady, it’ll end in tears.
Prefer working tests to to driven shoots, although true rough shooting for the pot is real team work

I still use my Airarms TX200HC underlevar on a regular basis mainly for ratting.
Heavy, but nice to hold & so well balanced.

use ours quite a bit, no just for films. Now using a 13″ laptop & if I need a bigger screen for anything just use airplay onto the 42″, great for big spreadsheets.
You do need good download speeds if you want to use it for renting/buying films though.

Came across my original copy whilst recently rummaging through a box full of old vinyl, still in it’s plastic wallet with the booklet inside.
Now where did I leave my old turntable.

with the insurance, it will only count on your premiums if the claim goes through.
soem insurance companies use surveyors to assess there claims. if your does then at least you can get a free survey which wont cost you anything unless you go ahead with the claim

    Do you have building insurance.
If so check to make sure that you are covered for “escape of water”
If you have & you have a leak then you maybe covered for damage caused by the escape of water.
Also, if you policy has “trace & access” then you may also be covered for locating & opening up for you to repair the leak & then full reinstatement.

If it is rain related then you will need to prove storm damage.

    `hope this helps

Vango Icarus with a canopy works well for us.
Relatively easy up & down & stable.
