Dab, may be you should point those inbred local nibys to the official at
Canterbury City Council who have on 2 occaions (1994 & 2007) shut down the city for the TdF. And on both occasions have reported and increase in
tourist income for the duration of the event.

Why not just ride from Canterbury?
You can get across the city in about 10 minutes by bike.

having to wash my kit in a non-bio and at 30 doesn’t seem to kill the
bacteria that causes the smell. But I have found that adding
a small amount of disinfectant in the fabric softener draw helps.
(only a small amount! unless you like to smell like a hospital)

    2 Kubrick films

Eyes wide shut, like what was the plot?
Clockwork Orange, after all the hype about it being withdrawn by the
director it turns out to be a big pile of poo.

Frame weight is dependant on how much filler they put on the frame.
Or so Mr Alexander Srn told us when he was out on a 19 team addition the other week.

A flat barred MTB with fat tyres isn’t going to be as fast on the road, which what most of the route is.

Actually Mr A, you will find that for the last 2 years the on road/off road content has been 50/50. Its only because I revamped a old route that this year was biased towards the road content.

Watch out next year, I’m planning on upping the off road content a bit more :D

Fatfish, times aren’t posted or recorded.
Well the exception being the first rider round the 50k and 100k routes
who get a mention in the local paper.

If its USB then bring it along with you, I’ll bring the laptop
see if it will load up directly from tacklogs or memory map.

Sheldon, have you still go that toy pram you had at mountain mayhem last year?
I think a few of the fast boys may need it as they start the first climb, going on what happened last time the event started up that way..

I’ve just got back after checking the final section over Cleeve Common.
It’s very dry, baked hard in places, even dusty.
And the final descent down to Postlip, well in places I was being
shacken to bits on a hard tail, so the boys and girls on crossers
    are going to suffer

    Correct.
If you going to do the 50k it may be worth trying to hook up with
Bushwacked, as hes going round the 50k with Mrs Bushwacked.

    I won’t be using GPS.
I won’t need to look at the map.
I won’t even bother to read the instruction sheet.
I won’t be blindly following the rider in front (even if she does have a nice arse)

Don’t forget to send the initial email from entry central, you
can’t get your entry pack without it.

too and the end section last year was a rock-filled gully that a lot of people were walking down.

Postlip! a rock-filled gully, hardly. River bed yes..

Pat will be out on Sunday.
If conditions get any dryer then some of the lumpy fields are
going to be really interesting for those with not suspension..
Oh and if he has the Whyte 19 team he was riding the other week end, you would kill to ride it.
